Here's what I get for the breakdown:
Hotel (value resort during value season) = $79/night = $395
Base 6 day ticket = $202/adult= $404
Dining = $38/adult/night = $380
Total: $1179 = $589.50/adult

All of these prices are before tax. Saves about $150/adult. Not as good as free dining, but I guess it's better than ticket upgrades. ::yes:: It's sort of like getting almost 4 days of free food. ;) I wonder how it breaks down if you want to book more nights. :confused3

For children: Ticket = $164 + Food = $11, Total = $175 for a savings of $1/child.

I think the math is a little off on the childrens part here. I don't think you took the dining over 5 days which would make the total about $220 :confused3 That would make a savings of about $35/child

You're absolutely right, and I'm a math teacher. :crazy2: :o

Not sure about tax on this special, there is no mention- but I went to Disney's site- but in 5 nights at value with 2 adults one child age 8 with park tickets- one park per day and dining package and the total was $1,602 this is for myw package- no special code. Now with VISA special - $435 per adult x 2 and 176 per child x 1 = $1046 so a savings of $556. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. :sunny:

that is soo terrific!! I, of course just called CRO even though I booked thru AAA, figured I'd give it a shot & was told the info is not available for booking yet!!! Of course I didn't get an E-mail though I have the card. Maybe with it I could have gotten somewhere. I'll just keep trying. Thanks for your help!

I have a Disney Visa and did not get an email.

Can you use this deal and stay longer than 5 nights?

I have an out-of-state family emergency and we are leaving to visit family first thing tomorrow AM. I probably won't be on the computer again until Sunday night. I hope I can get this deal!

I'm a cardholder, and I still have not gotten the email. I had a package booked for the same time frame with the deposit paid onteh card so they let me book. BTW, the code is not a secret one. Check the budget board - it's the first post here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1072108

OLD package: 7 nights/8 days MYW PH with dining at Pop Century: $1667 for 2 adults

NEW package: 9 nights/10 days MYW PH with dining at Pop Century: $1296 for 2 adults

I just saved $371 and added two nights to my trip!!!!! They priced me for Coronado too (we didn't book it), and I'm getting hopper passes. The same package with this code was $475 less than what I was going to pay ($1667 vs. $1296).

If you've called and have been unable to book, call back. I was told they could not discuss until tomorrow, but I called back, gave the code, and they let me book it.

This is available to book starting tomorrow for ALL Disney Visa cardholders. Just wait until tomorrow and call. This promotion starts on April 1.

While this may be true if they are going to book for some then they have to book for all.

If some CM's are letting people book, that just doesn't seem fair to tell people to wait. Several other people have booked tonight.

I called back again and booked!

Do you think every card holder gets the email with code or is it a random thing....I just cked and we didn't get one?

There may be some Agents that will book this tonight which is against Disney's policy because it doesn't start until tomorrow. If you want to harass CRO CM's and make them do something that could cause them to lose their jobs fine but booking a package for someone who can't wait one day isn't worth it. The email was sent in advance so you as a valued Disney Visa cardholder could plan on calling tomorrow morning. There are hundreds of thousands of room nights available. Just chill till tomorrow. Would you want to lose your job?

I just checked Deb's website and value season for Value resorts don't start until Aug 27. So it would be $99/night, assuming that you actually go August 13th.
Value Resort- $99/night=495
Base 6 day ticket =202
Dining 37.99/night =189.95

Total would be =886.95
Promotion price is =435.00

Savings would be $451

Or I am doing it wrong

Changing the rate to regular season would make a big difference. ::yes:: I didn't catch that - just assumed it was all value. But you do need to account for double occupancy (2 tickets, 2 dining) to get an accurate savings. Still, the savings would be $409 (if I did that math correctly  ) which would cover the dining portion! :thumbsup2 :Pinkbounc

ITA! I just want to modify my existing one, but nope, they can't even open the screen, it is simply impossible and everyone that says they are booking tonight must be lying! :teeth:
