donut shop is the one usually mentioned. the donut house is more of a flavor brand...................FYI...........the best i have come across yet is Kona Blend
The only problem with Dunkin Donuts k-cups is the price.
I bought a box of the regular DD kcups for $12.00.
The problems is that it contains 14 kcups.
For that price, I usually get 24 kcups in a box.
You won't abandon your Keurig. Almost no one does. The question is: Will your Keurig abandon you?I have been thinking about purchasing a Keurig. I am a huge coffee drinker.
Love my java juice. I am concerned about investing in one because I wonder if I will use it at *first* and then abandon it like so many other appliances. I don't think I will, but I wonder. I love love coffee. I have tried Keurig coffee that I have sampled. But I still wonder...
It's probably just coincidence. Descaling is one of the things that they ask you to do when the short pour problem starts. So, now when you call them (and you do need to call them, sooner rather than later - there's no reason to put it off, cause it just delays your getting a new machine) you can tell them you've already tried descaling! We're puzzled...Val just "descaled" our Keurig and now its giving us short pours. It seems like it only wants to put about 1/2 - 2/3rds the amount of water it should put in the different sizes. Anybody got an idea of what we did and how to fix it?
They have been having this 'pump' problem since the first model, and with every model since. I thought maybe our newest one (a Platinum for what it's worth, not top of the line, not bottom) might be exempt, but it started about 3 weeks ago - 8 months into its life. I called today, and they agreed to ship a replacement. You just have to go through the little dance with them over the phone trying things you've already tried cz you read all about them on the Internet, and agree to send the little thing that holds the K-cups back to them. Alrighty then!sometimes i think the company is "not quite there yet" there are more than a few problems that pop up........but.........if you call them, from what i hear, they will bend over backwards to help you.........up to and including a replacement.........i believe Mr Klose had situation involving a defective unit.
We used filtered water in our current crazy Keurig, and the little filter that fits in the reservoir. The first thing he had me try today was taking the filter thingie out. Hhmmm. So, you might try that. And welcome to the love hate world of Keurig ownership. We were directed by Keurig Customer Service to descale due to our short cup problem. We use Brita filtered water exclusively in the machine and have a filter in the water chamber as well. So I really don't think we had a mineral build-up problem, but we did it on their advice. We are heavy users of the machine though.
I think that did improve that problem, but I'm not convinced that it's giving the right amount all the time. I have call Keurig on my "to do" list.
But now we have a new problem. We used to leave our brewer on all the time 24/7. Suddenly now it keeps shutting itself off. I thought someone (kids) might have messed with the auto-shutoff setting by accident, but I've tried setting the auto-shutoff to "off" - didn't work, "8 hours" - didn't work.
I'm starting to have a love/hate relationship with that dang machine. Love the coffee, hate the hassle. Our 1 year warranty time frame is up in April I think and I'm going to have to try and resolve something with them before that time.
And with that, I think I will go up to the kitchen and make a cup with our Tassimo!![]()

Got to agree about the DD version being more expensive, even though I kind of expected that. Val & I bought a box (original blend) just to try and 'unfortunately' its great! So, I guess we will be watching for sales at DD.
Also wanted to comment that overall the price of k-cups is rising, which I believe is tied to a corresponding increase in the world price of coffee. Right now we are finding the best deals on k-cups to be at Bed, Bath & Beyond were you can use some of the ubiquitous coupons to score some k's at less than 50 cents per cup. Good selection too.
Just start reading this thread backward and you'll read all about it. Keurig is very good about replacing their brewers when they have problems, but they do have problems with their pumps. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to call them soon enough so that your machine is still under warranty so that you don't have to beg and plead for them to fix it without you having to pay for it.Hey everyone! I have a question... I LOVE my Keurig.. but recently i had some problems with it... it kept saying "prime" on it and would not brew... i would turn it off and back on and WHEN it would brew it would drip real bad after the cup was made.. then say "Not ready" and the word "Prime" in the right top corner..i researched a little online but nothing i tried worked.. ended up going to the store and exchanging it for a new one (i had only had it about 5 months).. but i want to know if anyone has had this issue or knows what it means so i can avoid it happening again.. i am spoiled to the thing and can't imagine mornings (and evenings) without it

Just got back from Bed, Bath and Beyond with a coffee pod drawer! For those of us in small living spaces this is awesome! I never bought a carousel because it was just another thing that would be sitting on my limited counter space. This is MUCH better because the Keurig sits on top of it and the cups line up very nicely in the drawer. It fits 36 cups.
You used a coupon...right?
Hi All,
I just discovered that I have enough AirMiles to get a Keurig B60 model
What I'm wondering is...are the flavoured coffee's and specialty teas sugar free? If not, do you know of any K cups that have no sugar (other than the plain coffee)?

I don't think I've ever seen the drawer, we don't have a Bed, Bath, and Beyond in my town, but next time we're in a city that has one I'll have to look. That sounds perfect for my house!
