June 6-11 at AKV...DH's first trip "home"!

I took the kids to AKV for a trip this past October while DH was out west, big game hunting. Now, we're going back and DH is coming with us. My DD's are very excited and looking forward to introducing dad to the animals. I cannot wait to introduce him to ZEBRA DOMES!!

We will be there from June 7-14 and can't wait. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, courtyard view, got the 4/3 deal. Have only been one time before and stayed at Shades of Green with my daughter who is military. I said that next time I go back, I will stay at a deluxe resort, so when the deal came out, I booked fast.

Just booked and got the 4/3 deal at AKL from June 20-27. This will only be our 2nd trip. I have always wanted to stay at AKL so when the deal came I booked it first and told my DH later. After he saw the huge savings , he was totally in. I have not told my DS- 8 about it yet. I want to come up with a clever way to tell him. Any suggestions would be great! I am so excited!!

We're booked at the WL for June 20-27! My boys are 13 and 9, and we aren't telling them until we are on our way. We're driving this time, and are planning on staying one night with my in-laws on the way down. We're going to tell the boys we're going to Williamsburg...but then, oooops! We'll miss the exit. We'll tell them then that we're going to Disney. I hope it doesn't backfire!!

I'll be celebrating my birthday on the day we arrive....so I'm planning on getting the gift card instead of the free entry. We'll just buy all of our souvies on that first night!

Very exciting!! A very nice DIS member mailed a postcard during their trip from "Mickey and the Gang" announcing that they could not wait to see my DS in June. He could not believe it!

We will be there May 29-June 13... celebrating 3 out of 4 of my kids birthdays AND an anniversary! We actually miss Dh's bday by about 4 days as well.

... and yes - their birthdays ARE actually during those 2 weeks (5/30, 6/6, and 6,12 -- and a 6/5 anniversary).

Ok. Here is my first post. I will cross my fingers as soon as I finish typing.
We are driving from NC leaving on Friday June 12, stopping in Jacksonville that night, and hitting Disney on Saturday June 13, staying in the cabins at FW until Saturday June 20.
Its me, the wife, 6 year old daughter, and almost 4 year old son staying in the cabins if anyone with little ones needs some other little ones to play with.
The sister-in-law and her hubby along with the parents-in-law are coming too to help out, but they are staying over at Wilderness Lodge.
