Just because we need another Chat Thread

Ouch. I hate movie theater prices. I miss the day when my mother worked for a chain and I could get in all day for free. I usually go to Century/Cinnemark. Their matinee is like $7.50 but the thing I do is what they call their "early bird special" and it's for the very first show of each movie.



Thankfully, even if it was broken it's not my writing hand. But I do need both hands for my job.

Sigh. It's definitely gonna be a little bruised. I might have sprained the finger too. The knuckle area is a little purplish like every other time I sprained that finger. Poor thing gets beaten up a lot.

I can't say that I've ever sprained anything. I rolled my ankle once, and that was pretty close, and so painful. And other than my fingers the one time, I have never broken anything or even had stitches (except again for that one awful night). It's kind of amazing that I haven't, cause I am a huge klutz. And it's funny cause my broken bones weren't even my fault. I was being given a piggy back ride and he tripped. First and last piggy back ride! I won't even let anyone pick me up off the ground anymore, lol.

I have had more sprains than I care to talk about and well stitches and staples oy. I am like a road map. And I once broke my middle finger.

Yeah, I would like to refrain from breaking anything other than my toe (which I don't think coutned because they couldn't do anything for it) and stay very very very very far away from stitches! Considering the klutz that I am (hey ... somebody owes me for not running into anything at DLR) it's a shock to me that I haven't seriously injured myself before. Knock on wood! Stitches cuh-reep me out though. The thought of ... NO! Gross. Nevermind.

I love my Jim Shore figures. I mostly just collect the Snow White ones, but this is the second one I have gotten from Disney Movie Rewards. The other one was Winnie the Pooh.

Long! But for good and fun reasons so I can't complain.
We were up at 700 for Disney, it's now 830pm. Our flight leaves in 2 hours.

Going home always makes confused. I understand about the dateline and different timezones, really I do. But it still gets me that we leave at 1030pm on Monday, spend 14 hours in the air, but arrive in Sydney at 10am on 2
Wednesday. We lose a whole day.

I hate the flight from Australia!! It takes so long...

I've been in a Chrismtas mood lately too (especially after buying some of the Mistletoe candles from Yankee Candle yesterday ... I love that scent so much) but we don't actually own any Christmas movies. I might just have to settle for The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. At least Santa makes an appearance, right?

I love love love Christmas! My best friend is staying over next Thursday night, we are going to look at Christmas lights and watch Elf!

I think cats knock things over on purpose. Two days after I got my ipod, my cat knocked a picture frame off a shelf and onto it, putting a nice dent in it. It still worked, but didn't look that nice. Oh kitties!

I'm excited right now though: I found my mini Christmas tree while looking at my Jim Shore collection earlier. Duffy is gonna get his own Christmas tree this year!
