We just got back over the weekend from a trip to Disney and wanted to report that SWA is Great! We got a ding fare of $28 each way ($74 round trip after taxes and fees) and had great service and no problems. We have never flown with them before, but would do it again in a second! Had no problems getting 8 seats together (one whole row across and 2 seats behind) with our A passes. Attendants were very friendly as were the counter helpers. They even passed out 2 snacks each way. A cereal bar and peanuts on the way down (morning flight) as well as a drink and a bag of chex type mix and peanuts with a drink for the afternoon flight back. Flights were on time and smooth. Just wanted to put in a good report for them!

I just love SWA also.....we're flying them out of PHL this Saturday.....I got $49 each way. I really believe their customer service is the best in the industry. We've flown them several times now out of PHL. We live about
two miles from a regional airport (AVP) and have other carrier service, but,
not direct flights and it takes about six hours to get to MCO with layovers and everything, so it's quicker to drive to PHL and get a two hour direct flight with
great customer service....not to mention the MUCH lower prices. Last time I checked the carriers at our airport the going rate was about $250.00 rd trip and higher.

I'm also flying SW this coming Sat. Dec. 10th out of Baltimore to MCO. We are in Central PA and could do either PHL or BWI, but we always go to BWI. We have an early flight. We leave at 7:10am and land in MCO by 9:15am, then off to AK. We love Southwest. They are a great airline and very helpful.

Another cheer for SWA here! I love their service - so much better than USAirways out of PHL. They don't seem to take their customers for granted and are usually cheerful, helpful and accommodating. Now if we could just do something about the pre-boarding lines......watching two senior citizens almost duke it out for first place in line last month in PHL (both in wheelchairs!) was not a pretty sight.

Count me in as another fan of Southwest. Had to drive 2 hours to Baltimore instead of 30 minutes to Harrisburg, but it was more than worth it for the much cheaper fares and non-stop flight direct to Orlando.

dlrhine - Sounds like we're neighbors....are you by any chance related to the Rhines in Grantville?

I live in Harrisburg about 15 min from HIA. And yes we do have Rhine's out in that area? Who do you know out there?

You can PM me!

We have nonstop flight for Sat Dec 10th,Great experiences in the past, heres to one more

I dreaded switching from ATA to SW when ATA bailed out of Chicago. I travel between MDW and MCO a lot, and I wasn't looking forward to the cattle call. Quite honestly, SW has been great. With ATA, over half the time they erroneously reassigned our seats due to screw-ups with their web check-in, which was new at the time. With SW, we make sure to get an A pass and be one of the first in line, and we have our choice of seats. It's actually been more painless than the ATA goof-ups.
