Just back from RCI...thoughts

Interesting thread. Honestly I picked the Disney Dream because of lenght of the cruise, age of the ship and location of where we get get on the boat. Our first cruise was an older ship on Carnival. I thought it was OK. After that I have been careful about what ship I go on now. I prefer RCL for crusies because of the water features on the bigger newer ships. Those ships do not have a short cruise in the summer. Same witrh Carnival, their newer ships don't have a short cruise. So the Dream it is. And a lovely Military discount and we are there. :):)

Just so you know, we did go the Wonder in 2007. Loved it. But I was with my little guy and my mom, both new to cruising, so it was a delite to see them enjoy it.

DH and I felt the same way about first cruise on Disney and that is what we did in 1999 and have never looked back! We have #10 and #11 booked. We would rather wait save up the extra $$ than book anything else.

Hi Sue! We are the Giants fans who introduced ourselves on the West Coast Repo and the Alaska cruise! These were our first ever cruises and we will never look back either! We did not cruise this year, saving up the extra $$ for Disney in 2013:goodvibes ALOHA, AND go Giants!! Karen and Ron
