Just back from OKW/VWL....Wonderful as always!!

Hi all,

We just arrived home (real life!) today. We had a wonderful stay at OKW and VWL.

My room was ready at 8:30 AM on arrival day....that's when I knew we were in for a great stay.....and I got my request of a building near the HH at OKW.

We finally had the OKW Minne DIS meet on Monday....It was great to finally put faces to all the names on this board....I only wish we could have chatted longer but my DD's were a little ansey and my youngest was tired and cranky. a little time was better than no time. Towncrier made us all DIS pins!! They were lime green of course........

My oldest DD and I went to Who wants to be a millionaire and guess who we saw get into the hot seat??? No not me, but our one and only Towncrier!! I am not sure how he did, but when our show was over he had answered the first 5 questions without using a lifeline........ So, how did you do Towncrier??

We went to St. Pete Beach for the weekend. Accomodations could not compare to DVC but the weather and beach were beautiful.

We loved VWL.... we rode bikes, and swam, swam, swam.....The only problem I encountered and it wasn't really bad was the water pressure in the shower at VWL......

WE did lots, ate lots and of course had lots of fun........Any questions I'll be happy to answer........

Did I miss any good threads while I was gone???????

I'm glad to hear you had a great time!! I do have a question for you, we are heading to VWL 8/21, what room should I request. Not the actual room, but a lower floor? higher up? That type of thing.

We stayed on the 5th floor overlooking the woods which were straight ahead and then the pool was over to our left. It was quite and nice. The balcony was relaxing but I prefer the one at OKW which is much bigger........Have a wonderful time.........
