May 4th, 2025 - 13 Night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise from Port Canaveral to Barcelona (Castaway Cay, Azores, Lisbon, Cádiz)

So far I've only seen Belle, was being told she was the only one.
There’s a golden retriever with a gentleman who has diabetes and four small dogs. Two are with individuals in a scooter and a wheelchair.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful time on your transatlantic sailing! We will be on the WBTA in November, and we'd love to hear as many details about your cruise as you're able to share - activities, shows, menus, passenger count, schedule for Pirate Night and other events, etc. Thanks!
We are collecting the printed schedules. I am planning on scanning them and can post them after cruise. But if you want to see last year’s ones you find them here: https://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/ under Dream

Thanks, can't wait to see the daily schedules!

We're enjoying living vicariously through all of you as you sail across the Atlantic. Have a great time and enjoy sharing the ship with so many dogs!

On Sunday, I met Nab (Disboard) and her family. Yesterday, I met Landon (Disboard).

Today, the ocean threw a tantrum! It’s been wet, the wind has been blowing, and the ship hasn’t stopped swaying—pretty sure I’ve developed sea legs and a six-pack just from trying to stay upright. The chicken tortilla soup class warmed me up a little. I also did a cha cha dance class, and the swaying made it look like I knew what I was doing. 😂

The weather is so much better today—I can hardly tell I’m on a cruise ship! Still, this trip is flying by. I can’t believe it’s already day five; it feels like I just boarded. Being two hours ahead isn’t helping either. Today, I joined a Parmesan meatball cooking class and even tried my hand at Rhomba dancing! Waiting to see the Jack-Jack diaper dash race.

I finally tried the infamous churro Mickey waffles today — honestly, nothing to write home about. Lol.

We’re set to arrive in Azores tomorrow!

I can’t wrap my head around why there’s only one laundromat on deck 10, with just three washers and three dryers. And get this — last night, only one dryer was working. I didn’t get to bed until 2:30 a.m. ship time!

There are launderettes on several decks (some are bigger than others, we used deck 9 last night and had no issues).

Wow! That would’ve been great to know before hand. I’m going to save that image for future cruises! Thanks

That's specific to the Fantasy, though I imagine the Dream is the same . Magic and Wonder also have multiple launderettes, I believe. The Wish class ships only have one, but they're bigger.

We liked the Mickey churro waffles this morning — in fact that's the only thing we ate at breakfast. But we went early, some other guests reported on the WhatsApp group that quality varied. Many guests reported they were too fatty and not enough crunchy, not sure if the timing was involved or if the quality was just inconsistent. We were told we would have two remaining occasions to try them, so we'll see.

Hope everyone will enjoy their day in the Azores tomorrow!

There is also a screen in every laundry room that lists all laundry rooms and what is available in each one. It’s kind of scrolling through.

Oh no, I hope the person is going to be OK. Were you at sea when it happened or had you arrived in Lisbon?
There was an announcement at around 7:30 pm yesterday (sea day) that we would rendezvous with the Portuguese Navy for a helicopter transfer. The forward part of the ship would be closed. We only had to divert a tiny bit from our course and made it to Lisbon without delay this morning.

Still at sea, though close to Lisbon, thankfully. If they made the decision to transfer by helicopter rather than waiting until we got to Lisbon the just morning, I imagine it was pretty serious. ☹️

Yes, I was thinking that the person was lucky this didn’t happen in the middle of the Atlantic.

Not sure how true this information is, but someone said the person had a heart attack.
