Does anyone know what characters were in front of the castle? THANKS ALOT for all the info guys!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
I am also dying to know what villians were out in front of the castle! I am a huge villain fan and have never met Jafar, Maleficent, or any others. Hoping to meet lots next Friday!

The villians that appeared in front of the castle were Jafar, Malificent, Cruela DeVille, The Wicked Queen, Captain Hook, The Queen of Hearts, and Judge Claude Frollo

Awesome!!! Thank you so much Corey!!! Can't wait to see the pictures and video.

I appears there may be a free 4 X 6 with each ticket as part of the 2006 events. Photopass has a size change to 5 X 7 and there it's a 50% discount for that picture size.

It would be good if someone posted that they were able to get the free
4 X 6 size picture. Is there anyone out there that can confirm?????

:bitelip:

I'd love to get confirmation on the "free" photos too.

Although according to the 2006 map, there is no indication of photo spots, so that is pointing to the only discounted 5x7 photo pass photo. Ah well. Inflation everywhere I guess. I still can hardly wait for my turn to go to the party!!! :wizard:  :cheer2:

I'm not seeing any mention (on the map) of the Liberty Belle Storytelling Cruise... I was hopeful that it would return this year, now that the LB rehab is complete. Did they have it, and it's just not listed?

Guess it now sounds like he was a last-minute addition.

How about the Big Bad Wolf? After all, he is the DJ in the Villians Mix & Mingle.

There is no free photo this year. That info on the main page is a mostly from last year.

Only thing now (which is mentioned on the 2006 map) is the 50% off a Photopass photo.

This has been confirmed by many who wrote to Disney and got phone calls back from Disney's Executive Offices. It's also been confirmed by one guest's review of the party last night.

Just an update there is no free photo being made this year. The info on 2005 is being confused with the new information for this year. We will be updateing the photo information for you as soon as possible. The information we have now is No free pictures. 50 percent discount on 5x7 discount with photopass. Watch the DIS for new 2006 information.

The first thing I'd like to report is, this is the best after hours event we have ever attended. We did MNSSHP a couple of years ago, and while we enjoyed it, I didn't think this was worth the money. We have always like MVMCP much better, but tonight really surprised me. The CMs were wonderful. They went out of their way to be high energy and full of fun, despite some bad weather. The rides were all walk-on all night long. The longest wait time was for Pooh (about 5 minutes) but that was because they were taking pictures with "Mummy Eeyore" and Pooh right by entrance. We watched the Happy HolloWishes Fireworks from main street near the castle forecourt. It was a little too close, but it was still the best fireworks show we have seen here (we have done New Year's, but not 4th of July). I wish you could purchase the music from the fireworks show and parade. We skipped the 8:15 parade and waited for the 10:30 showing instead. That was a good decision. We showed up in the front plaza of Main Street at 10:45 (the parade started in Frontierland) and snagged curbside seats with no problem.

The characters we saw were:

Captain Jack Sparrow, Wendy, Peter Pan, Smee & Captain Hook in Adventureland.

Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, Horace Horsecollar (really), several country bears, Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, Brer Fox in Forntierland.

Some ghouls and ghosts in Liberty Square.

Chip and Dale, two of the mice from Cinderella, Eeyore, Tigger & Pooh in Fantasyland.

Stitch in Tomorrowland.

There were lots more, and many in "costume," but these were the only characters we visited with our son.

I know there has been a lot of concern about the fact that the park was not emptied of day guests, but we saw literally nobody without an arm band on. The lines for the character meet and greets, rides and candy were short, and they checked you for your armband before letting you go to any of those activities. I suppose some people may have stayed around for the parade and fireworks, and like I said previously, we skipped the early parade, but there were not large crowds for the fireworks, and the 2nd showing of the parade was deserted. I would ay that Disney did an excellent job of crowd control and general execution of this event.

Do you think you could maybe please share your photos with the rest of us?
