Just Back From First Trip Home!

I have been lurking on these boards for a while (thanks for all the great tips!), but just had to post following our recent trip to WDW and Vero (10/18-26). It was our first trip home as DVC members and I can say without a doubt that joining DVC was the best thing we ever did!

Everything about the trip was flawless. We stayed in a studio at BWV overlooking Luna Park...it was even ready for us when we checked in early at 11am! In Vero, we stayed in an ocean view inn room that was absolutely spectacular. Both rooms were in great shape and all of the CM's were fantastic.

One and only downfall of the trip was that we were disappointed that we didn't get even one "welcome home" while down there!

We did meet a lot of fellow DVC members while down there...what a great group this is!

Now I'm going through withdrawal. Luckily, only two months until our trip to VWL for the Disney Half-Marathon!

Thanks for coming out of the "shadows"! You didn't get it in Florida so I'll say it now, "WELCOME HOME!" I always love hearing about people's trips, especially the first ones.

I'm always looking for new places to eat in Vero. Did you venture out of the resort to eat at all?

PamOKW - We actually didn't leave the resort at all while we were there. The weather was so spectacular that we just enjoyed the beach and pool and happily ate at the resort in the evening! I'm sure we'll be returning soon, so we'll keep you posted if we try any new restaurants!

Glad you had a great trip!

Sorry that you didn't get a "Welcome Home!" while you were on it though. Luckily, we received three "Welcome Home!" salutations (yes, I was counting! ) in the first 15 minutes that we arrived at OKW!!
