We returned Monday night from 12 wonderful Disney days.

We did lots of new stuff this trip:
- HHN (amazing) and RRR
-The American Idol Experience (3 times)
-Deluxe Disney Dining Plan
- Stayed at POFQ
-Took the boat to Downtown Disney
-Did Characters in Flight (LOVED IT)
-Ate at many new restaurants
-Birthday Fast Pass for DH

It was really hot but a nice change from the weather here.

12 days! Wow, that would be so awesome! You did a lot of things, some of which I've not done yet. Haven't been there since they started the American Idol attraction--I'm looking forward to that. Obviously, since you went three times, you would highly recommend it! What is Characters in Flight?

How did you like FQ? We're staying there in January for the first time with our DD 4.

American Idol Experience was great (especially the last "finale" show of the day). Characters in Flight is the helium balloon at DTD and it was just amazing.

We really loved that resort. We stayed at Riverside last year and we prefer the smaller POFQ. Definitely take advantage of the boat trip to DTD.

I have a question, is the Mouse missing me as much as I'm missing him?

LOL...that's so cute! Glad to hear you had a wonderful time - just wondering - Deluxe DDP - too much or worth it? I'm still so undecided...!

We got back on Tuesday so we were there some of the time you were. I miss Disney terribly. Did you go to any parks on Monday before you left? We stopped in at HS for rope drop and stayed a few hours and it seemed a lot crazier than the previous week. Not summer crazy but wait times at RRC and TOT around 45 or so in the first hour and TSM over an hour by 10:00. Any ideas why? We didn't wait longer than 20 minutes for anything the previous week and usually didn't wait as much as 10 minutes. We do go at rope drop and get the longer wait rides done in the first hour and I know waits were longer later in the day, but not as bad as Monday.

We thought it was worth it. To eat up some of the credit, we reserved all but 1 of the Signature Restaurants. but the last day we were there, we cancelled Yachtman and ate counter services because we were just tired of those big fancy meals.

I think we would do it again though. That was the first time we ever used it. I was concerned about the snack credits, but it was really warm and we needed lots of water..so we used up all but two and bought 2 big cookies home.
What is HHN and RRR?

Glad you had a great trip! Mine is in 2 weeks!!!

I hope you have a wonderful trip too.

HHN is the Universal Halloween Horror Nights (which is their MUCH more intense and scary Halloween party) and RRR is Rip It! Ride it! Rocket!, which is a new Universal coaster that we really loved.

No, we slept in and then went to DTD and ate our last meal at Ragland Road. Our flight left at 3:30. We talked about going to AK that morning for the EMH, but we were exhausted by that point and just wanted to get home to our dogs. I have been bummed since coming back to reality, but I missed my girls so much. We thought the weekends were pretty crazy while we were there, but during the week was pretty easy to walk on just about anything (except the always busy TSM and Soarin).

We did not go to the Disney parks on the weekends. We got into town on Sunday night (25th) and then we needed a rest day so we didn't go to any park on Saturday (31). We went to Universal on Sunday the 1st. We didn't like RRR...we all thought it was too rough on the neck and head. It made us appreciate RNRC because it is so smooth. How did you think Universal compared to Disney?

We love thrill rides and we think Universal beats Disney there, but we have to say, we really miss the Disney magic when we are at Universal.

The Halloween events are night and day. We did both and loved both but for very different reasons.

I know they are on tour --- but did you notice any Imagination Movers merchandise or anything about them? My 3 year old will be in heaven!!!

Your moved post, it is a better fit here on our Trip Reports Board.:goodvibes Danny

Sorry, I can't say that I did but I really wasn't looking for it either.
