Just a Question

Hey Everybody,

Kinda new to the board. First I would like to say HI too all , When I found this board I was thinking WOW there are people who love WDW as much as I do.

My question is I know that the carousal of progress is seasonal, but I have yet to be there when it was closed. I am going in September with my son for the first time and was wondering if anyone can remember it being open at that time.

This is one of my favorite rides, and would hate to miss when we are there.

Howdy and WELCOME to the Dis Boards! Glad to have you here.

I'm afraid I cannot answer your question. COP is usually a "seasonal" attraction, but has been open continuously since "Alien" has been closed for refurb. I honestly have not kept up with the refurb, but it may be scheduled for opening this summer, which could mean that COP could be closed. But no guarantees. Hopefully someone more helpful will come along to answer this......................P

Last September it was mostly closed, I think when we were there it was only open one day, when crowds were kind of heavy over labor day weekend. The rest of that week it was closed.

We were there last week (6/23/04) and it was closed during the day but they opened it up that evening... so I guess it is just hit and miss.

Small World, which is DD1's favorite ride, will be closed when we go in Sept. COP and Timekeeper are not substitutes, but good distractions! We really enjoy them!

I can’t believe that SW is closed. My DS would have love it. I guess we will just have to go back when it re opens.
