TP2 and Tomar...what will Hanna do to your weather up there?
Hope you guys are okay through all of this!!:lovestruc

Thank you EE22  ....Just supposd to get alot of rain here in New Jersey....OUr DH in South Carrolina got the worst of the storm last night...
I was worryed about them...but this morning all is well !:cloud9:
Thank you soooo much for asking !! :goodvibes
EE22: Not really too sure. Been pretty busy. Have not seen to much weather news. I think just bad rain though. Thanks for asking though. :goodvibes

DD4 has Coxsackie Virus, glad it is not mono. Rash came yesterday.

Did anyone read about the free dining pin codes coming out through December? The dates are specified but they go through October, November, and December. Dining for my family would now cost $2000. I miscalculated last time I figured it. I must have done current ages instead of age at time of travel. We will have another "adult" with us this summer. We will be out of pocket if we have to pay for it. Reservations must be way down that they are offering so many fall discounts.

TP2- Im soooo sorry about DD4...my Grandgaughter had the Epstein Bar Virus last year ....same afftects as MONO...:scared1: ....But she is fine now.....
I hope your DD4 gets better soon !! ....

We are all watching all the latest promos for you !!!:grouphug:
I get the AAA magazine in the mail...(we are members) and they have promos all the time....the last one was up to Oct. of this year...so I will continue to keep an eye on "YOUR PRIZE "!!!!!! ;) .........:yay: :yay: :yay:

Hiya everyone! :wave2:

Hey our little thread, just turned over 200 pages and 3000 post.:thumbsup2 Better watch out, they might start charging us.:surfweb: ;)

TP2, I soooooooooo hope your right. I could use a better price in march.

This fall sure has been busy with the hurricane weather. I hope the next one calms down soon. Good luck with the rain coming up the east. With Gustav, we actually had the "bands" of rain. would rain then light, then rain heavy, stop, light heavy... . .. ... I thought I was in florida. The tropics of illinois.

Have a great weekend everyone! I am working.:sad2: It was in the 70s and beauitful here, but I almost had to scrape frost this am at 6:30:eek: not quite ready for that.

mky:cutie:

TP2...never heard of that virus, but very glad it's not mono.

Both of my kids had ear infections this summer. I'm pretty sure DD's was from swimming, but very odd that DS got one. It's been years since they had ear infections. I'm glad it wasn't anything more.

Glad the family is well down south Tomar.

It's been chilly here too mky. Football game was very chilly on Friday and it poured rain. No fun! I was under a tent though. I was helping a friend with the Hall of Fame that was going. Figures...I don't have to go to the games anymore and it rains. The weather was suppose to be nice and then it turned rather nasty and cold.

I noticed the pages too! WOW:yay:

ps...TP2, I would bet with the active weather this fall with hurricanes...codes will come out for August next summer.

Wow guys! I can't believe how many posts.:goodvibes

We got some wind but nothing terrible, few planters knocked over. Lots of rain though. Frost:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Not ready for that yet. We are still in shorts and tank dresses here. Not ready for cold weather.

MKY: Not sure how you found that AAA info but I have been scouring the website and everything is a form to request more info. Can't find any prices at all. Also, tickets are discounted now for WDW. They say that they have lots of ticket options. I called a couple of months ago and it was only a 4 day hopper. Now it is saying base tickets are included but again, you need to call. I like just looking up the info for myself.

EE22: I hope you are right. I am so torn as to where to stay. I know we should go for family suites but POR is so much nicer. It is the space that I am afraid of. I would hate if everyone had a terrible time because we were cramped. I just wish we had an idea what kind of specials were coming because if it is free dining, that will throw us in a different direction than a room discount. I figure that I will need to wait until January before we see anything for 2009.

And yes, EE22, Coxsackie must be popular here because both DD9 and now DD4 have had it. DD9 was so little all she had was a high fever, no other symptoms so it goes undiagnosed but it is scary because the fever is 104. Once the rash comes it is over.

DD9 had an inner ear infection most of this past winter and spring. She complained of all the other symptoms but not the ear. We were going crazy trying to figure what was wrong. I thought they grew out of ear infections but I guess not.:sad2:

WE`re Still wearing shorts and flip flops here ...but I have a feeling it won`t be long now when the sweaters and boots make thier appearance :worried:
Happy week everyone !!!!:grouphug:

Hiya everyone :wave2:

TP2, I logged in at www.aaa.com then it ask for zip code. So it direct's itself to the "chicago area aaa" > then I hit travel, > then hotels > i typed in wdw and put, for disney resorts and that is where I got it. I will try to pull up something, for you to use? Hope this works:

http://ww2.aaa.com/scripts/WebObjects.dll/AAAOnline.woa/203/wo/ydGh6LISffx8w0GuFrUqEg/1.13.37

Try to work off that. Hope it helps.

Hope your girls are better. We don't see that in the hospital, so not real familiar with it.

Ok, I am not that much more north;) We turned the HEAT on today. Yes, I typed heat. It is in the low 60's and pouring out.

March 09 hours are still not out. Even tour guide mike, is not out past jan 09. I want to get busy, and at a stand still. We have voted to drive, even if air comes down. Luggage is too much of a hassel.

I think, instead of dvc, I am going to rent an apartment in the wdw area for the year. And keep my stuff there. With out hotel bills > it would probably be cheaper. Think they would give me a resident discount? You guys could borrow it.;) I think, I just need to buy a condo there:yay: or small house. I could send down my old people (my parents) and they could winter there. I wonder if anyone does this?

mky:wizard:

HI All...
We need heat here too:confused3 too bad my room has none at school. It's suppose to be 39 in the morning..I'm not pleased.

mky...I'm sure people do that! I know people who have bought condos for their kids in college rather than paying for room and board...it's a tax write off too. I guess DS and DD should look for schools in FL:rotfl:

TP2 and Tomar...glad you just got nasty rain and nothing else!

TP2...hopefully the decision will be made for you when codes come out. I understand the room issues...being in a room with only two teenagers isn't fun. I'd like to rent them a place at a different resort sometimes and DH and I could have a peaceful time;)

As you know, we bought DVC because we needed two rooms now and we were fortunate to be able to buy. And, DH is sold on the idea now too...before he was not. We could not afford two rooms at a deluxe...that's why I said in 06 we were done...that and the schedules of the kids and then Tomar talked me into DVC :)

So...I hope a dandy code comes out for you or that you get a pin code which is always a tad better. Maybe with your cancellation that might happen. We got a great come back code back in 03 after we skipped a year and the economy hoovered at that time too.

Glad DD is doing better.

I'm in a sweatshirt tonight

MKY: I think you have a great idea. Maybe we should all go in on it together and it will be our own timeshare.

Thanks for the AAA link. I will see if that works. I tried signing in and all but it didn't work for me. I will try your link.

EE22: I can't believe you guys have cold weather already. I am so sorry for you.

DD4 is better. Thanks all.:grouphug:

Reading about bedbugs at POR. Know it can happen anywhere but supposedly they are worse with the trundle beds. I was having a hard time with them being so close to the floor. Maybe better off at family suites.

Tomar: Thanks for all the well wishes. I really need to put the computer away until January and just not think about it but I am consumed.

Have a great week everyone and sorry about needing heat already.:sad2:

No kidding!! It is suppose to warm up to 70 today, but this is just so harsh this early in the fall:rolleyes: I still am wearing capris, but I have on a long sleeve shirt and I'm wearing my Tink jean jacket! BURRR!!!! I wonder when we will have to scrape DS's car windows:mad:

TP2- WE get the AAA magazine sent to our house from time to time because we are members...As soon as I see anything interesting for you...I will let you know !
Sooooo happy that DD4 is better !!!! YAAY !! :flower3:

OK.....so we are supposed to be getting the cold coming our way starting tonight:headache: ........Bye Bye Summer :sad1:

Hiya everyone! :wave2:

EE22, right there with you. Hit the low 40's last nite. We had the heat on all day. At least there was sunshine today. Work is busy. We have been as high as 16 (patients) this week and low only of 7. All summer it 3 maybe.
I hope they get your room up to speed, soon before it gets any cooler.

Tomar, Hope it doesn't get too cold or rain. I know we are sending it east. (you too tp2).

TP2, I really think that is a great idea, now if we could get it on property? popcorn:: Maybe, I should suggest it with wdw?

Still waiting, for my special delievery, from wdw for doing their survey. I bet it will be a super cheesy small snow globe. I love (but still hate) surprises.

mky :cutie: closely watching my counter at 184:cheer2:

Tomar: I get that AAA magazine too. I have a couple of issues to look through, I didn't have too much time over the summer with everyone home. I will make sure I keep my eyes open.:goodvibes

MKY: I like your idea. Right on property. Maybe we can buy one of those new tree houses they are putting up?

Thanks for the heads up on the cold weather. I woke today to whipping wind and I knew that it must be coming. DD4 complained all day that she was cold.:sad2: I hate giving up summer weather but at least I am a season closer to WDW!

Hi Guys !:goodvibes
MKY:cutie: ....Hope Uncle Walt sends you something nice for the survey !!!:cloud9: Hmmmmm....something REALLY nice !!!:cloud9:

Today was a wash out here....RAIN and more RAIN ! Ick :sad2:

TP2- Glad you get the magazine:banana: ....they have some great Disney deals from time to time !!;)
Yes...the faster we get through the.......ouch:headache: ....I can`t bring myself to say it.......ok.......w-i-n-t-e-r  .....we`ll all be that much closer to our trips !!! :yay:

We must all suffer through winter to get to our next trips...except for MKY...she's going in winter which is even better:goodvibes

mky...I think March hours might be out.

I am watching for codes for March for a friend and someone posted on that thread that hours are out. :confused3 Not sure, but thought I'd mention it.

MKY: You lucky duck, planning another trip already!

So I have had some time to run numbers while the kids are in school. After figuring the costs of free dining and a 40% room discount (not that I have either:rotfl: ) the most affordable way for us to go is to stay at ASMu in 2 rooms. That is it, I am decided. I am off POR because someone would have to sleep in the trundle:scared: and after the bedbug thread, I am grossed out. It will be fine and I have been trying to figure out the car rentals. Someone got a mid size for $79 per week.:woohoo: I guess how it works is the closer to the booking date, the lower the price? So that is it, I am decided.:rolleyes1 No more running numbers and making myself crazy. Unless of course they offer free upgrades or something.

Have a great day everyone!:grouphug:
