Hiya everyone,

Tomar, no we did not eat at the wave. But, we did not care for the menu.:confused3 We did peak inside. The entrance is quite fancy and next to the lobby. You enter a tube like long entrance way and then there is a podium area. to the left is the resturant. We checked it out while they where closed;) but I wasn't that impressed. Booths around the parameter and tables of 4 or 6 closely mashed all in the middle.:rolleyes1 Kinda plain.:confused3 I loved the steakhouse and miss it. The bar is to the right and behind the podium area. GO to the bar. I thought I was in Las Vegas or LA in one of those trendy bars.:thumbsup2 There are 3 different couch seating areas. With frilly cool curtains hanging between. I guess if they get a bunch of LA celeb's :lmao: ;) they can close it off, to us regular people. And it was kept pretty dark.

Now, for narcoosees, I would be interested in the surf and turf. As a big splurge. I always thought the building was pretty, and wanted to try it. What a great B-day for you.:dance3: Nice work mr. tomar.:thumbsup2

Now, I would like to ask a personal question. I get everyones, nickname. Mine is easy as is EE22, Candi actually stands for Canada, and Minnie, or mouseaddicts makes sense But, I always thought it must be based on your last name, but is it for tommorrow at SSR? or how did you make this? It is probably clear to everyone but me.:confused3 Just wondering.:upsidedow

EE22, We got your rain. Off and on for a day now. Yesterday 98 degrees tonight it is already 70. They said we will get some Gustav's rain tonight. So I live in the tropic's. Checked on the dining board, and was told that the 180 thing could be up at any time.:confused3 And try to call every few days .

Everyone, have a great nite! mky:cutie:

Someone needs to teach me how to do more than one person's quotes in the same post.:lmao: I don't know how. Maybe DL11 knows and she should teach me??

LOVE CROCS TP2!! It's about all I wear anymore.
Don't get hooked on jibbitz though. BAD!! VERY BAD!!!

mky:cutie: we've had very little rain here:rolleyes: and we need it. It did cool off. No storms or anything...very strange...it's like they went around us.

I'll let Tomar tell you the secret behind the name;)

Tomar: My crocs came today and they look grey and coral.:confused3 Did they send the wrong ones? They look so different than what I was expecting.

Can't stay at CBR, they only take 4 to a room. Looks like it will either be POR or ASSu. Would love YC or BW, MK resorts are untouchable.:sad1: Maybe in our next life!

MKY: I understand Tomar.:goodvibes I bet it was already explained though.

EE22: I think you highlight what you want to quote and then hit the quote key.

TP2: which crocs did you buy, Mickey ones? Sometimes they do look a bit different in "real life".

I will check out the crocs site. I bought the new Mary Jane style that have Mickey icons in them too:goodvibes

I am not sure how to do two though as I press the quote button on the person I am...do I just go to another one then?

MKY: Those air prices are crazy.:scared1: SW just published $69 each way fares. Of course you have to travel on off days but that is fine with me. I would be driving too.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

I love SW:goodvibes

I was practicing...I don't know how to pull in the quote from the second post. I should stick to math.

No rain here yet mky and we need it.

I guess I'll see if this works now:laughing:

Everyone, have a great nite! mky:cutie:

MKY...thank you so much for the heads up on the wave.....the restautant doesn`t sound like its for us ....we don`t drink.....and the trendy dark room with bunched up tables doesn`t souind very inviting:crazy2:
I`ll pass :goodvibes
NOW......I would be happy to answer your question after all these years :goodvibes
ToMar @ SSR.......really means......Tony (my DH ...he`s the To)....and Maria (that`ll be me...Im ...the Mar) ....Hense "ToMar@SSR " :goodvibes

EE22: You did it!!!!!

MKY: I called yesterday to check on AAA rate Garden Wing Cont. CRO told me that there are no value rates in the summer, only in August.:confused3 I said that August is still summer for us so I would like the rate then. He told me value season starts on August 2.:confused3 Then he told me the rate was $315 per night before tax. I knew it was all wrong so I went online to check. Value season starts in July, and the rate is $285 before the AAA discount. I have no idea what that guy was talking about. Were you able to get a AAA rate at the Cont? I was thinking that it may not be offered at that hotel.

Still resolving myself to POR for 2 weeks. It is the only thing within our budget for a trip that length of time. Have to say that I am starting to look at AP rates again. How have they been lately? I have been completely ignoring them.

Morning Gals !:surfweb:
I recieved my new Passporter in the mail a couple of weeks ago....so it`s back to the drawing board for Summer of `09 :woohoo:

MKY- Yes...the beach is really a 10 minute drive for us if we choose to go to one that is near our house...but this trip we went to Cape May NJ....a very pretty Victorian city at the very southern end of our State...:beach:

TP2- did you get to see the link I posted of the new CBR Pool ?!!! It`s really Cool !:cool1:

EE22- YAY !!!! you are now multi-quoting !!!!!!

Have a great day everyone !!:grouphug:

Hi Tomar: Yes I did see the pictures. It looks like it would be so much fun for the kids but they only allow 4 to a room. We need for them to add trundle beds. Funny that POR allows 5 but CBR does not with CBR having larger rooms. I just contacted AAA to get a price quote on POR with the dining plan and tickets. I may just go for a room only with AAA discount. Maybe a code will come out later but for now, at least I know I have what we can afford for the time period that we want to stay. I also have tickets left from 2007 so doing things seperately may save a couple of dollars. I would just add on to the tickets we have. Maybe I will look into the Passporter this trip. Gives you something to look forward to.:goodvibes

I was soooooooooooooooooo hoping that you could snag a great code for CBR....in the new rehabed rooms....BUT... POR was one of my fav. also
I know you guys are gunna have a blast there as well...and you can take the boat to DTD also.....;)
My fingers are crossed for you to get a "Super Duper" discount for your 2 week stay next summer !!!pixiedust:
In the meantime.....the Passporter is a great planning tool for you ....I never leave home without it !! :flower3: You know I`ve mentioned it in alot in my TR`s down the years :cloud9:
Hope you have a great day ! :flower1:

Hi Tomar: Yes the girls and DH went back to school this week. Thank goodness as my house was gross. Finally catching up on laundry and dusting. Seems that the minimum gets done during the summer with everyone home.

OOOOOO Yes I hear ya TP ...on having everyone home for the summer....I used to love the first day of school.....for ......"THE QUIET CLEANING" :laundy:
;)
It also allows you to get your thoughts together too !! :hippie:
Hopeing for a great code FOR YOU  ..and a good year for all of us to be in planning mode together again !!:grouphug:

TP2: My friend called and they said the AAA rates were not out for 09 and I told her that the CM was a twit and to call back so that's what I think you should do. Some of them are just clueless sometimes.

I think mky said too that ap rates were not as good as AAA rates and my friend who is going over T-giving said the same thing because the price went way up for the weekends and the holidays.

Hope everyone had a great week. Rain cleared today (gustav) but it is only 60. Its still sept. right? The trees all are trying to turn, now.

that is copied from the aaa web site. It is for aug 1, 2009. You are right, I have the CR on AAA rates for march 09 and Oct 09. Disney can book them throughout 09. But the website will only go through aug 2,09 for now. This year the aaa where a few dollars better than the ap rates, for me this august. Not sure why. Maybe they gave a generous aaa rate, and then scaled back, later in the year and cheaped the ap rates.:confused3

Now, we love pors too. that is definately our fav. moderate. Hope the magnolia's are in bloom. It is so beauitful there.

Tomar, now that makes sense. To + mar;) Very clever. Glad you had a nice break at the beach. How nice. We can only dream from here.:3dglasses

Candi, had my first oil change on the vw. wow. glad it will be only yearly now. Have you made any adr's for plans for your next trip yet?

ee22, your right. I would call back and ask another cro. Some know everything, and some its better to just start over.popcorn:: And disney is doing the las vegas thing of: raising the weekends prices and holiday prices. :rolleyes1

mky:cutie:

MKY::worship: :worship: :worship: Why is it that our questions get better answers here than at CRO??? Okay, still more than I wanted to spend but we will be fine at POR. There have been so many codes, so hopefully things will continue that way.

TP2 and Tomar...what will Hanna do to your weather up there?
Hope you guys are okay through all of this!!:lovestruc

EE22: Not really too sure. Been pretty busy. Have not seen to much weather news. I think just bad rain though. Thanks for asking though. :goodvibes

DD4 has Coxsackie Virus, glad it is not mono. Rash came yesterday.

Did anyone read about the free dining pin codes coming out through December? The dates are specified but they go through October, November, and December. Dining for my family would now cost $2000. I miscalculated last time I figured it. I must have done current ages instead of age at time of travel. We will have another "adult" with us this summer. We will be out of pocket if we have to pay for it. Reservations must be way down that they are offering so many fall discounts.
