mky...I know Tomar is sending a box and so am I. I would NOT send it via the usps...send it UPS!! I will see how it goes. I'll keep you posted on that. Tomar doesn't have issues.
I'm sending things I can do without just in case on this first dry run.
You think you're having issues! I have a family of 4 for 11 days to pack in 3 suitcases! We get ONE bag each and one of them is for bathroom supplies.
Here is a Question...do you think those MBTs will go through security okay? What are the soles made of...any idea?
And, for anyone that knows...are all the refillable mugs the same at all the resorts? Didn't know if we should wait to buy ours till we went over to AKV because we will only be at the BC for one day.
I'm at TEN!
I have guilt though getting ready given what's going on so close to us.

It wasn't even that big, it had 2 packed duffle bags in it.
The sole I think is mush. Or soft rubber of some kind?

I always used boxes that were like the size of a case of paper. You know, like filing boxes. I guess they stack easily and fit on the shelves well in bell services. I did not use luggage with the boxes either, just put my stuff in the box. Anything nonessential and bulky. Like umbrellas, sweatshirts, shoes, etc. I always carried in my carry on enough clothes for 3 days, but the smallest of the clothes I was bringing. Like a dress instead of pants and shirt. I never carried toiletries other than deoterant and toothbrush and paste. Always relied on the hotel to provide. And I wear my heaviest/biggest shoes and pack the small ones in a box and ship. The box is insured in case it gets lost. I pack so much more to go to Disney and when I travel with family but when I would travel for work it was always the minimum. You really don't need that much if you put your mind to it. Of course when you pack for Disney it is fun to shop for stuff and you end up with more than you need. I guess this is what the airlines are trying to avoid.
I can't. I have DH and I packed and there is one bag already filled. He still has three shirts to pack too. DS and DD still have their stuff and I don't have the fanny pack in yet.
I think everyone has global warming on their minds and it is getting a bit scary. They don't want hysteria.
the only pics I have are those that were given back by relatives over the years or that my dad had at his place after the divorce. I remember my mom yelling at me...don't touch that light!!!
....Im gettting excited for our trip now !!!! Can`t sleep !!

You guys are killing me with all the luggage talk
too much luggage. I think I have my dad to thank for that. Eight people (I am the youngest of 6) in one Cadillac driving from the coast of British Columbia (near Seatle) to Montreal Quebec. We moved and only had one small U-Haul that we pulled for the house. Everthing else had to fit in the trunk of the car. And they CAMPED every night!
My mother really is a saint
for a couple of days. I think it's all sinus/allergy. My head feels full of fluid.
I'm taking meds and getting a little bit better ... but still not quite 100%
We will be down to the wire!
But work has been crazy and I've had to cancel 2 other planned trips this year and I need the stress relief so much
