June/July/August 2006 Code watch

I just called nothing today. I just thought today would be the day for sure.

I called this morning...nothing to report...it also seemed like my CM did not check, but she knew right away... :guilty: oh well at least I'm going to Disney!

I still feel very confident it's on it's on the way! But WHEN? haha
That's the real question?

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I don't know guys - Every day that passes, I lose more and more hope. This is getting pretty late.

just called at 603 CT...a "sort of friendly" cm said...monday may1st is the 5 week mark. "if i were you, i would stop worrying about the AP rates until next Monday May1st" !!!!

He said, im almost postive that the AP rate for summer will be out AFTER next monday.

BUT,,,i dont trust him....i will still keep calling at least twice a day.

have a good day all !!!!!!!!!!

Nothing yet, called (to less than friendly cm?)

I just want to say, and I've posted about this before, that yesterday I spoke with the RUDEST CM I've ever encountered, and I ended up leaving the conversation in tears and having an anxiety attack.

She was curt, sharp and rude. She was demeaning and impatient and I finally told her so all while shaking and crying. It was the worst Disney experience I've ever had. SHe said 'Well I'm sorry you feel that way because I'm having a perfectly LOVELY evening'. I have a certain choice word for a woman like this which I will refrain from stooping so low as to call her that, but it did pop into my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DH was so upset that this happened to me, he called Disney and got a supervisor in Guest Services. ANd let me tell you, my DH hates dealing with Disney, he likes being there, but doesn't want to have to deal with ANY of the details, so I was so happy he called.

ANYWAY, after all was said and done, this supervisor DID say that he felt that the discounts would be out soon and not skipped over.
SO that is an encouraging note to us all.

I swear I'm done calling Disney. If I have to check on something or change something, I'm having DH do it. I've had my fair share of unfriendly CM's and I'VE HAD IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :furious:

Whew, I feel better now, thanks!
Have a great day everyone!

I just called also, thought mabe they slipped the code in before 7:30am, :surfweb: but, no luck this morning guys :sad2: The cm was very sure that the AP code WILL appear soon, but didn`t know exactly when :hourglass :rolleyes1
Hope tomorrow is a better day :goodvibes

Nothing Yet! The CM knew nothing and did not feel like speculating! I hope it is soon. We have 5 AP's and are not renewing next year. Probably would not have anyway but this waiting made my final decision.

I want a code REAL bad but honestly - Mousesavers will have it on their site as soon as it happens, and I always get an email notification. I don't want anyone to have a heart attack waiting on a code. Plus, if we keep calling and calling who is to say they won't change their policy for the worse because we're bogging down the CRO agents? (no flames please)

They need to change the policy and stop torturing us. BRP didn't work. Not for most people and that's why it's a thing of the past and I want to keep it that way. I think they should simply have a set schedule for AP holders. You get X% off during value season, X during regular, X during peak and holiday. No matter what. No matter what!!! Based on availability of course and they could block out a certain number of rooms. So, there would still be some competition for them, but none of this craziness.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. It just spoils a bit of the magic when you get a person like that on the phone. Good for your husband for calling them back. I feel his pain. I love Disney, but hell will freese over before they admit to a mistake by one of their castmembers.

:rotfl2: I second that emotion! Maybe I'm making something out of nothing but it seems the CM's are getting irritated. Which, I don't condone because their job is to answer our questions. I'd absolutely hate to lose the privilege of last minute booking and go back to non-refundable deposits. That doesn't work for us given our careers. We usually can't book more than 2-3 months out and we need the "option" to change it around or cancel. Not that we make a habit of doing that, but it's nice to have the safety net. We're both self-employed so there is no set vacation and our time off depends largely on my clients and my husband's contracts (he's an opera singer). Really, his career isn't much of a problem because he's typically booked far out, although last minute things do come up and he'd be a fool to turn down $$ because we have a Disney ressie we can't cancel. It's really me that is the issue. I couldn't possibly book more than 3 months out and that's difficult. Plus, I rather enjoy last minute trips. Last year, we booked 6 weeks out. This was before the dreaded BRP.

Oh well - here's hoping we don't drive them crazy and the codes come out soon. DISNEY - STOP TORTURING US. We're you're #1 fans.
