Add me to the anxiously awaiting AP rates! I too hope they get here in a hurry, we are hoping to go sometime in July (or early August if need be). I am getting so antsy!

I did want to share though what I did find at another website. I found the historical dates for the release of AP rates from early July through mid-late August. Basically the AP room only rates for 2003, 2004 & 2005 did NOT come out until sometime during the first week in May (and in 2003 the beginning of the second week!)

So from that standpoint we'll be waiting another 1-2 weeks at least before anything comes out for us... BUT I so am hoping that they will come out sooner than THAT, this wait is literally driving me crazy!

Here is what I found for my dates June 30 - July 8. A few weeks ago not much was available. I was convinced things were so full there wouldn't be codes.

Last week I started checking again. Almost everything was coming up as available on WDW website - maybe not all views, but I could get into every resort I tried. Then I went to AAA website. Again, every resort I looked at was available. I have to admit I was only looking at Deluxes and Mods so I don't know about values. Even POFQ came up which was my first choice of a mod and hadn't been available for quite some time. Then I went to Expedia. Expedia had much less availability than either WDW or AAA. Their view allowed you to see individual dates and what I thought was interesting was that a resort would be availalbe for all but one night, and that night was usually something odd like a Thursday. I think rooms are freeing up and they allot different rooms to differerent marketing outlets.

deedeetoo - Our ressies our for the same dates! We had 6/29-7/8 but had to bump it up a day. We're currently reserved for 6/30-7/5 at POR: RS and 7/5-7/8 at AKL but I was hoping to switch the first 5 nights to WL if an AP code comes out. I've been reluctant to hold the room before codes are released because I know that it's out of range without codes, and I don't want to throw off the Disney Gods by making them think all rooms are going at rack rate and then they won't release AP codes. (WHEW! Out of breath after that long sentence!) Grrrr!!! I can't remember a year when it's been this down to the wire!

I've found the same things you have checking AAA, Expedia & WDW online with a few rooms becoming available and random days not available in midweek or a Sunday.

Someone mentioned purchasing the DDE if you had an AP....what does DDE stand for? TIA

Funny you should ask, I just hung up from calling Disney to order this! We have our very first APs (we'll be activating the vouchers in a couple of weeks), so we wanted the DDE card to go along with it.

I was trying to find a moderate for a friend that doesn't have a computer. She wanted to go to a moderate for the same time that I will be at Pop. I will be at Pop Century from 7/11/2006 through 7/27/2006.

I posted something about this earlier and someone said that they tried, but they tried for the month of August.

My friend wants to go in July and the only thing that comes up, is Port Orleans - French Quarter or Pop Century, which she doesn't want a value because her kids are older and All Star Sports, a preferred room.

Can someone try to get in WDW's website and see if they can get a room at Caribbean Beach or another moderate, no Deluxes for 7/11 through 7/27. One continuous reservation, without splitting. Room only. I think my friend already has theme park tickets.

Are they really booking up that fast in JULY?

I just checked disneyworld.com. Caribbean Beach only showed King bed rooms as available and Port Orleans French Quarter only had water view rooms but both were available for the whole length of stay. Hope that helps.

Just to let everyone know I plugged in our dates July 12-July 23 and just about every resort was open. Some had even more view options than last week. This morning Poly only choices were Lagoon view (MK) or garden view. Since then they've added LVC. Also CR only had tower or garden wing rooms yesterday, today they have Atrium Club. Same with BC just added standard rooms today and YC added water view rooms. So it looks like more rooms are indeed opening up - hopefully that and the high gas prices will make AP rates more available.

I have a feeling tomorrow is the day since these rooms are all opening up today. Good luck to everyone!

Just a question though - every other time I've booked AP rates the first batch (in March usually ) went through 4th of July and then late April or beginning of May the July 5 and later AP rates came out. Do you think they'll all be in one big batch?

I just checked through AAA and found Caribbean Beach had King, Preferred Standard and Water View for the whole length of stay, and Pop And All-Star Sports had Standard AND Preferred rooms available. Nothing at POR: RS or Coronado Springs for the whole length of stay. I'm not sure if she has AAA or if that helps.

So I just spoke with DH. I e-mailed him asking to pickup a flyer from Costco with the car rental information. He calls me from work and asks why we would need it. So I said if AP rates don't come out we will need to stay at the Sheraton with a car because it will be too expensive to stay onsite. He said NO WAY (I could not believe it). He wants to stay at AKL but will sacrifice and stay at a value not to have to drive. I NEVER thought he would WANT to stay on property as it was pulling teeth to get him to go back again. The reason he agreed was because I have the AP and can get all the great discounts. Anyhow, my DH giving this much input MUST be a sign from the gods that good things are coming our way.

Latasha just said before the end of the week they expect the new codes to be out. Hope so. Tried to talk dh into going 2 days earlier to get the June 3 rate but wont because of June 4 being gay day at mk.So heres hoping they dont skip dates.

I tried to do a search but for some reason it won't work for me. I tried to find out what time (the night before) a few people started to squeek through the system for rates for the next day. I found the dining promotion and it was 7:47 pm. I was trying to find the March/April watch but I could not find it. Does anyone have it or remember what time it was when that first person got through the night before?

I haven't called in about a week so I guess I am clear to call in.

Pretty much. From watching though is always seems like there is advance warning for the next mornings release. I am going to call in a few minutes. Just trying to get my kids settled.
