Resale shopping again.. my heart wants one thing but my head says another. Give your opinions.

We own at CCV too and there is just something special about it that is impossible to describe. Everything being inside, or BRV a super wide walkway away, just makes it feel intamite with a large presence.
Yes I totally get what you mean.

Being an owner I should know this but is CCV getting a hard goods or soft goods refurb? The condition of this studio is actually great and I’m shocked it’s due for a refurb.

Just soft goods. Starting soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they swap out the sleeper sofas for the Murphy bed sofas though.

The vendor who sells them to Disney has already given us a heads up -

Don't let them hear you. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would love the murphy LOL. We can dream to get an extra bed in there. At least let's get the 1BR to sleep 5 please????

The company that makes the Murphy beds has confirmed they are being added to CCV. The sofa beds are in need of replacement. Our DD slept on one in November and she said the comfort level was not that great. Not as bad at AKV but pretty close.

I didn't purchase there mainly because you can't put 5 in a studio or a 1 bedroom at CCV.
It is nice that it's a long life resort that they matched the point charts to the older resort due to it's being next to BRV. The 2BR there is very reasonable when you compare them to the 1BR at the more expensive resorts.

We found BLT pull down to be okay. Oddly better than VDH even though it’s the same bed

Probably since the mattress is newer.

At BRV, during our January 2024 stay, the murphy was still fairly new and was super comfortable. Went back in January 2025 and the mattress was already developing a 'rut' in it. I feel like these types of mattresses really have a short life.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT... studios are confirmed to be getting a 5th sleeper bed? The dresser is swapped for a murphy bed in that studio!

Sorry..... that's a picture of BRV that they used to show what it "may" look like. Sorry to get you excited. I very much doubt they can get a 5th bed in there but I can dream :)

A lot of us made that same mistake when the news came out from this vendor.

AHHHH ok. I swear I was thinking hmmm that looks very similar to the BRV theming and I didn't see the kitchenette which is usually open to the room at CCV. I've always heard it was a fire/safety/capacity thing so it surprised me!

Oh, most definitely; it pretty much shares the same point chart as Beach Club. I just wanted the option to do 1 BR now and then, too, rather than always 2 BR. My family can do about a week at any of the following at 11 months with my points/preferred travel time and a bit of banking/borrowing:
1. studio at BCV
2. 1 or 2 BR at BLT
3. 2 BR at BCV (requires banking/borrowing/probably some 7 month hoping)

Which gives us a ton of 11 month options, for travel with my spouse and 2 kids, both with and without my mother! If you are a smaller family of 3 or 4 and can make CCV studio or 1 BR work...it's fantastic!
