June/July/August 2006 Code watch

Yes, I'm getting good vibes :hippie: about tomorrow! If they come out early in the morning, how fast do they book up. My TA doesn't open until 11:30 Disney time. She's on Pacific time. Anyway, should I book on my own, have her cancel my ressies, then turn my new ressie over to her, to be able to save on the AP rate? I'll die between 6:00 am and 10:30 my time!

Well of course it will be tomorrow- because that is one of the 2 days that I will not be home in the AM. I will be on a bus with 60 third graders for 2 hours to Philly!! Please please not tomorrow- have I not suffered enough

I just checked WDW's non-passport resort reservations. The only locations available 7/29 - 8/5 were FW Cabins, and SSR. Nothing else! Not Pop, All Stars, any Moderate, or Deluxe. Two days ago there was a lot of availability everywhere. This leads me to think only one thing...TOMORROW CODES!!!!!!! ...or at least very soon. :cool1: I can dream, can't I!

UPDATE: As of 10:05 all of the resorts on the WDW website are once again available. Those Disney people are just messin' with our minds! :rotfl2:

Did anyone call tonight? I know that there have frequently been some leaks in the system in the past the night before a release. I was just wondering if anyone got turned down tonight.

I don't think May 1st will be the day.
Mousesavers has it listed as the day the tickets for MNSSHP and MVMCP go on sale. They would be nutso to do that. So...maybe it will be May 1st :rotfl:

Let's hope it's this week!!

My guess is Tuesday of this week. Hopefully I am correct. Otherwise I think it is starting to look bad for summer AP rates.

I just tried the Disney website for my friend again to see if she can get a moderate for 7/11 through 7/26. The same time that I will be at Pop. She didn't want to stay at Pop since her kids are older.

The only moderate that was available was Port Orleans - French Quarter, but it wasn't a standard room which I saw about 2 weeks agao for $155.00 a night. She was just thinking about it then so she didn't want to book anything. $175 a night is too high for her.

The only Value resort available for the same time, 7/11 through 7/26 is All Star Sports or Pop Century and All Star Sports is a preferred room. Can they all be booked? Do they hold a number of rooms that they know will be taken by Annual Passholders once codes come out?

This is my first time staying onsite and I have never tried to stay onsite before. I never really thought about it since I don't drive and the last trip I made to Florida last summer I went to International Drive since I was going to Seaworld, Universal, Islands of Adventure and the water park on I-Drive. They were selling tickets last year for unlimited visits within 17 days to all the parks so I couldn't pass that up.

I love going to Disney so I was considering buying an Annual Pass if the discount was really good, but will Disney have AP discounts if all the rooms at their resorts are being booked up so fast? Can they be doing something just to make people stop looking for AP codes by making everyone think that all their values and moderates are booked for the summer.

Hopefully soon even if I can't use it. I was really hoping for some general public special.

The resorts are definitely not all booked for the summer! Just yesterday morning I called and was able to get AAA rates for the following resorts for August:

Port Orleans - French Quarter (std or water view available)
Polynesian (only asked about garden view)
Boardwalk (only asked for std view)
Beach Club "
Yacht Club "
Wilderness Lodge (woods view, concierge, and deluxe rooms available)
Pop Century (std and preferred location available)

I was very surprised to find there were still AAA discounts available at so many resorts. Maybe because of the Free Dining Offer. :confused3 I'd still like to see an AP discount come out though! :3dglasses

I called last week and tried to get a second room at all star movies for 6/16-26th. They had to move us to the All Star Music. They had no availability in the Pop or at the Movies.. I even tried to get a Suite and those were taken. At least we're somewhere on Disney Property and we never stayed at Music.

If I had a dime for every time Disney's website went down, I wouldn't have to worry about AP rates. :lmao:
