Hey all! Gosh, I don't check the boards for a few days and it's like an information explosion happened! We're part of the "safety in numbers" crowd too, so we're doing the best of Rome, Catacombs, climb the tower in Pisa, and a couple of my group are doing Pompeii half day. Should be an adventure. We have late seating.

Hi Michelle, For the FE, It is totally up to you if you want to give one per family or for every member of the family. If you do a search on the main forum, I'm sure you'll see a few threads regarding FE. I will add you to the FE list as well.

Hi ZOOM! I looked into the FE gift ideas and WOW were there some awesome gift ideas. I know exactly what to bring, now my last question (I hope) is do we bring a gift for each day per person (or per room) or just one gift for the trip?

On our last cruise we handed out gifts 1x and gave 1 gift per person. Some participants gave small things to the adults and gave something larger for the kids - like candy or webkinz.

Wow thanks for the heads up, I just checked out the link, they're very specific. Too bad we can't borrow Amyren's parents. If the price is right and we can work out the details, it very well may be worth the extra hassle. I'm just glad to know ahead of time, I don't like surprises that come with a price tag attached.

Mom and dad are going to be pretty handy on this trip. They are also great baby sitters

Wow Ive missed alot...been busy with school and track season.

Lets see...booked airfare thru Air Canada ( decent price but with all that is going on Im assuming it will only get worse).

We are staying at Hotel Pulitzer the night before the cruise and Hotel Ciutat del Prat after the cruise.

still trying to figure out excursions...too much to process

For dinner we have second seating

and its me (Karl) DW (Laurel) and her parents Marvin and Judy and now her aunt, uncle and cousin are going too.

I know Dismeet has been discussed, but i think so far we have not decided as to when and where, any suggestions? Maybe around 3pm at the Goofy pool area? Also, someone posted that we can link our ressies so we can all be seated in the same area, I wonder if it's OK to just email DCL to link our reservation nos.?

We still haven’t purchased tickets only because I am still debating the time. Don’t know whether we should go early morning or wait until later in the afternoon I know I better make a decision soon though as they are very strict on how many visitors they allow in a day.

On our last cruise we also did the cruise meet at 3 PM and it worked out great The only issue was that it was kinda of noisy out by the pool but on the other hand the parents were able to talk and mingle while the kids were in the pool. It can also get crowded by the pool so a sign or something else that will identify us as a Dis group would probably be helpful.
As far as the FE we have done it in the past and it's always been lots of fun and we would really like to do it again but I am just worried about the luggage space

On my last cruise, we met at the bar area in front up above the deck the celebration took place about one hour after the ship took off. We could also meet for breakfast in Parrott Cay, because we have a day at sea. A very bright person will come up with the best solution later...we have time.

I bought my tickets last week, all the time slots were still available - there are only 10 tkts/time slot, but all 10 were available for almost all the slots, prior to my purchase.

Stupid question - I just finished my online check-in and it assigned me a a port check-in time of 1:00 p.m. but the disney transfers will get us there much earlier. How strict is Disney on those times?

I just did my check in a couple of days ago and they had me choose my boarding time. There were still openings for all of the time slots. It sounds like those doing Disney Transfers will get an automatic time assigned. They probably already know the DCL bus schedules for arrival.

Anyone worried about the 'war' in Libya? Will we be expecting to see a lot warships/gunships in the Mediterranean? I really do hope we get to visit Malta, I would be disappointed if Disney Cancels this port but I won't be mad, I know it'll be for safety reasons. Well, we still have about 2 1/2 months to go so hopefully It'll get resolved by that time.
