About birthdays...I saw a shirt or something that said, "I'm 39.95 years old." My birthday is the end of June soon after we get back from the cruise.

LOL - I got your pic, Drew. I'm just waiting for Tracie's and then I'll repost the spreadsheet for everyone. So far it's just the 5 of us so we can spread our budgets amongst a very small group. I'm really looking forward to the new wardrobe that you're all getting for me...right?

WRISTBANDS: More expensive than I remember so if you can get me the exact count of adult and youth wristbands you'll want I'll figure the price.
Last time a bunch of us got extras since they tend to snap once in a while.
One last recommendation: for adults we went with a dark green and for youth we went with the light/glow-in-the-dark green. The adults weren't into glowing but the kids enjoyed it.
Do you all want to go that route again this time?

Hope everyone has had a good week I got in ANOTHER car accident today (we got in a bad one a yr ago- a driver ran a red light and my car was totaled. Had the kids w/me but only I was injured). Anyway- today at the same intersection I was sitting at the red light and a car comes fast up behind me and slams into me- pushing me into the intersection, and then turns right and takes off. No one else around (very early in the AM) and couldn't get his plates. I now have a sprained neck and Piper hurt her arm.

Ugh. Careless people really upset me. Sorry had to vent...

Onto a hopefully much better weekend!

Oh my gosh!! I'm so sorry to hear that. Did you file a police report? Any chance there might have been a video camera on the intersection?

I did file one yes- the same officer came that showed up to my accident last year (she remembered Piper). Rotten luck. No cameras there- it's a very small side street by Aidan's school. There are many houses around so perhaps someone might call in with more info. I drop Aidan off a half an hour early during the wk to be able to get to work on time (he eats breakfast there) so there was zero traffic.

I'm feeilng a bit better. I called my phys therapist and reminded me of the things I can do to help it.

I am SO looking forward to vacation!!!! My friend is going to DL this week and I'm so jealous

How horrible! I am glad you are both ok! My family was in a car accident when I was 8 and my dad died. I am always so careful when I drive because of that, but you can never tell what the other driver is going to do.

Stick in there! Sun and Fun is on the way.

Okay, the two sites ended up being about the same - approx. $1.60/wristband at the qty. we're looking to purchase, including shipping. I have been working with 20 each of adult and youth bracelets based on this count:
Drew: 2 adult
Tracie: 2 adult
Jess: 1 adult/2 kids
Laura: 2 adult/2 kids
Jeremy: 3 adults/3 kids

That gives us a few extra of each for any additional people who join...or for ourselves cuz we're greedy like that.

I found a coupon for 10% off, which takes the cost down to $1.50 each bracelet. I don't know how much it'll cost to mail these to y'all, but I'm not worried - I'll foot that one. So if you guys are willing to send me $1.50 for each wristband, I'll go ahead and order as follows:

My neck and back (it started to radiate) got worse over the weekend so back to my physical therapist I went Just need to work on things, and I had a massage which helped. Car accidents are so scary! The bad one we were in last year was very nearly fatal for me (the car hit us, we spun out and I slammed into a telephone pole). I am so cautious but you never know what others will do. My kids are scared to drive a lot of the time

It's our spring break here this week and the family I nanny for is in Mexico- so I have the week off! The kids and I are going to Great Wolf Lodge (there is one an hour away) for a couple days. Hopefully the hot tubs there will help my muscles

The wristband count looks good- I'll bring $$ with us

Yeah! After some careful thought we wanted to switch to first seating since we usually eat pretty early at home. We were on a waitlist and it came through. I am very happy.

I was checking our cruise on Disneycruise.com and there is a one bedroom suite available for over 7000 for two people--Just in case you want to upgrade. There are no cat 12-7 avail. I hope we get an upgrade!
