Hey guys! I'm Casey. I just got accepted to character performer and am planning on arriving June 15th. There don't seem to be many of us late kiddies so I thought I'd make a thread to pool us. Also if there are any chiquitas 21+ that are still looking for prossible roomies I just got accepted via telephone today so I am in search of. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!!

Hey everyone! I'm Amanda from Cincinnati, Ohio. I will be arriving June 15th as well for merchandising. I graduate on June 13th, so I'm going to have to leave for Florida the moment after the graduation ceremony is over! Ahh! Crazy, but exciting! I am in the running for the Communication Planning: Graphic Design/Journalism Professional Internship, too. I could hear back from them any day now. The College Program was my backup plan, but I am happy to be an official Cast Member either way!

I feel your pain with the late departure. My dance show is on the 13th and will prolly get over around midnight and I have a 20-22 hour solo drive, so we're looking at around 6 hours time to go home and shower and stop stop for naps on the way...gonna be nuts but totally worth it.

Yeah I think they'll be more of us later too. I'm not actually a quarter person but long story short I had to do FA to get Character Performer and I have to perform June 13th and the recruiter said that I could do June 15th because one arrival date for FA was either full or almost full...which leads me to believe that maybe as the arrival dates fill up they'll let regular people do this date, but thats only a guess.

Derek - did I read somewhere that you're a character performer too?? Maybe we'll train together

Well, I was accepted into Fall 09, but I called my recruiter and asked if there was any way I could be placed into Fall Advantage. She said it was full for my Role (Custodial), so I was all sad. But she said would call me if there was anything she could do.

So, the next day she calls telling me she pulled some strings and got me into Fall Advantage! I'm ecstatic!

Anyways, I'm checking in June 15th!

Nice welcome to the group I also was planning on doing fall in my head if I got accepted and now its like holy crap I'm leaving for Disney in 2 months is this seriously for real. Its so weird it's like I know it's happening but it just doesn't seem real. Can't wait to meet you all!!

Are any of you on the quarter system? I applied for FA, but my school extended its quarter (I am not sure why...)and I will be in a week later than everyone else. I am wondering when other people on the FA quarter system are going down.

What school do you attend? I go to the University of Cincinnati and I'm graduating this June with a Fine Arts - Media Arts degree. Graduation is on the 13th and I have the same check-in date as you! Crazy crunch time!

Nope, not yet. Actually still discovering things (This is probably my 4th post on here). Found this forum about 2 months ago and the other (not certain if forum rules allow posting) around 3 days ago. And of course I have no roommate but am thoroughly prepared for my Disney Adventure. I should enjoy it. I have learned a lot but Just anxious about the things I can’t find out (Exactly where I work, my exact room and roommate situation); Guess I’ll just have to wait till I get there.

I almost went there. I attend Ohio University and my degree will be in Business Admin. and Applied computer science (Bach. and Associate Degrees). Should Graduate Spring '10 (Fall '10 at the latest). Actually our classes end on June 13 too, but my last class/final is on the 10th. Cutting it pretty close but I made it.
