We just called the TA and booked on this cruise! WooHoo!!

We will have our special Fish Extender with us - you'll just have to stop by the cabin to see it.

I made it through several pages of the thread - but can't go back and read 75 pages - I'll PM Flo to see what else I need to provide.

Just bit the bullet and booked our 1st Disney cruise! DH, DW (me), DD18 and DMom (mine, too) in a Cat. 11. I'm just glad to be on the ship! How can we join in the fun with everyone??? DD19 decided to be a grownup and stay home, so I invited my Mother. Huge Disney fan here, former store Cast Member and rabid scrapbooker. I look forward to meeting some or all of you! All hints & tips are appreciated.

Be sure to wear your LIME GREEN to the terminal so we can spot you.

fish extender question!!!

if i decide to do it, what do i need to get? how many gifts and is it every day or just one day or what?

You can do as much or as minimum as you would like.

What i will do is.......

I have put a couple little things in party bags, like suckers and tatoos and barettes etc........

And i will deliver them all in one day,
and be doen with it.

Last time i wanted(or thought i wanted ) to deliver soemthing everyday........NOPE, bad idea!!!!! that is WAY too much walking!

some people do it 2 times during the cruise, what ever is good for you!

It is FOR FUN! so no worries as to what you give out or when!!!!!!

Good to have more new people! Yes, please join in on our fun. The first post will let you in on what we are doing.

Do you know what a fish extender is?

The best "tip" on here is to get an over the door shoe holder... the clear ones work best so that you can see everything without having to actually look into the pockets. You hang it on the bathroom door and put all your "loose" items in it like your make up, medicines, sunblock, keys, camera chargers, things that would normally clutter up your bathroom counter or the dresser top. We hang ours on the outside of the bathroom so that we always have access to the stuff even when someone is in the bathroom.

Don't forget to bring an extension cord and a power strip so that you can plug in things like camera chargers or alarm clocks as there is only ONE plug in the room and it is behind the tv and not very easy to get to for a quick plug in.
And while we are on the bathroom subject, don't forget the AIR FRESHENER, with a cat 11, you will want to "freshen" the room from time to time.

**Scrapbook Exchange - Paper, stickers, emblishments like clips, buttons, yarn, ribbon, and some really cool things that were especially made by the scrapper for our cruise for scrapbooking. I tell you, some people are VERY talented (not me) but we had fun chatting and looking at other peoples pages and got lots of ideas from everyone. You bring 5 you take 5 etc.

*Fish Extenders – We will be putting little things in them through out the cruise. Like, Paper, Pencils, stickers, etc. To do this we can use the list that Sandy will compile for the Mickey door magnet.

Fish Extender Gifts - This can be EVERY day or you pick a day to distribute all your gifts. There really is no set rule for gift-giving, it is up to you as to what and how much you want to give... each to their own accord. Right now there are not many DISers that have signed up so the roster is quite small... so we could do it everyday... if there are many more that sign up, then we could do it all on one day and just lump our gifts in the Extenders on whatever day you choose. Bear in mind that it is a lot of fun to find something in your extender EVERY day.
