:sad2: :sad2: I can not believe I did this:upsidedow :upsidedow

I am so upset! I got my information in the mail about the excursions, etc. I can not find it. I know I did not throw it out. My 90 day window is going to be here soon. I just sent them an email asking for another one. WIsh me luck.

Who's getting shots (HEP a/b) and who isn't? Anyone want to share why or why not?

What is this about? Is the W.H.O. or some other department suggesting that we get shots? Please share the article or whatever that you got this info from... or is this just a precaution that you take when traveling?

Flo, If you have a fax machine, I will fax you a copy of mine. PM me your fax number.

I haven't seen an article about it, but I know that the last two cruises I took, there have been discussions about it on the dis. I asked my doctor and she said it wasn't necessary for the cruise if I wasn't going to eat off the boat. I didn't even think about it for the mexican cruise until a friend of mine told me it was recommended to her.

I put it on the cruise forum, and it sounds like people are getting them.

I was just wondering how others felt on our cruise? I was planning to take 3 excursions that included lunch. Anyone else?

I'm pretty sure we won't be taking the shots. I've asked my T.A. at Dreams what she thinks, but I haven't seen any recommendations on any dcl literature.

:thumbsup2 Well, when you put it that way, It kind of makes sense to get them if you are eating meals off of the ship... but I think if you are eating Disney sponsored meals off the ship that are included with your excursion, I would not worry SO much... but maybe just a little. So when you put it that way, it wouldn't hurt to have the shots. :confused3

Happy Valantines Day

Yes, Thank you for remembering...
He finally made it home on Tuesday at 9:30 at night... :yay:
It was freezing cold and we were all exhausted... I was in charge of the movie camera, so I was only able to snap one picture with my camera and it is not too good of a shot. Someone else took lots of pictures with a digital camera and I have not seen those pictures yet, but will post those soon.
Here, he is wiping away tears of joy as he is looking at Lily, who was asleep and disoriented and did not want to be disturbed! :rotfl:

I don't know why I stopped getting notifications on this thread! Sorry to be so quiet!

As for the shots, I doubt we will do those unless I hear differently before then. I understand this itinerary is newer for Disney but its not at all new to the other cruise lines and from what I understand, they don't ask for it either. So I will pass on the shots!!!

I am not at all thrilled with the shore excursions. I've heard so many wonderful things about some of the tours other cruise lines offer, but I can't seem to find anything comparable with Disney. I am not sure what we are going to do yet. It kind of stinks being the guniea pigs!

Can anyone tell me anything about Starline Tours??? They are the ones that are doing our 4 hour Hollywood Tour when we arrive in LA. But I can't seem to find much about them and what I have found isn't positive! YIKES!

That is scarey!... I personally don't know anything about them, but perhaps someone on here does and can help you out. Good Luck!

Hey flo,
In 2005 my family and I did all Disney excursions...

In Puerto Vallarta, we did the zipline excursion and that was GREAT. The most fun and exhillerating thing I have ever done. The tour guides were very helpful and everyone spoke english. The Mercedes truck ride out to the jungle canopy area was something of an experience to say the least.

In Mazatlan, we did the Old Town Walking Tour and we were VERY sorry.
It was SO HOT and we were in OLD TOWN... OLD as in NO air conditioning! I do not recommend this tour unless you are into OLD buildings and lots of history. NO shopping on this excursion except at one little jewelry store where we shopped in for over an hour just to enjoy their feble air conditioner and at the OLDEST bakery in town... which is in a house without air conditioning and the cookies had bugs on them! :rotfl:Can you tell that I did not enjoy Mazatlan?

In Cabo, we were so burned out by Mazatlan that we decided to ditch our excursion and went out on our own. We just walked around and shopped and ate a leisurely lunch and went back to the ship... THAT was actually our most relaxing day. My mother decided to DO her excursion and she had a great time. She took the Lands End Coastal Cruise and LOVED it. She came back with some great pictures and met some nice people.

This time around, I believe we are just going to walk around on our own or just stay on the ship... I'm looking forward to my deck chair.

Sandy,
DH want to kknow what you mean about the "The Mercedes truck ride out to the jungle canopy area was something of an experience to say the least. He goes is that good or bad. That is were DS and DH were going to do it. On that one I will be on the ship or walking around town. I do not want to do that. I will have me time.;)

If it is that hot in Mazatlan we will just take a walk around town.

DIS MEET SCOOPS (Deck 9) 3:00 PM June 1, 2008
Things to remember to bring and or happening at the meet:
*Post Cards for Adults (From your state and with your info on it)

**Post Cards for Kids

DIS Fun Going on during the Cruise
*Mickey door Tag:To be put on the list to play this PM sandysplayhouse with your name and room number. She has offered to compile a list and hand it out at the meet. thanks Sandy

**Scrapbook Exchange - Paper, stickers, emblishments like clips, buttons, yarn, ribbon, and some really cool things that were especially made by the scrapper for our cruise for scrapbooking. I tell you, some people are VERY talented (not me) but we had fun chatting and looking at other peoples pages and got lots of ideas from everyone. You bring 5 you take 5 etc.

*Fish Extenders – We will be putting little things in them through out the cruise. Like, Paper, Pencils, stickers, etc. To do this we can use the list that Sandy will compile for the Mickey door magnet.

Fish Extender Gifts - This can be EVERY day or you pick a day to distribute all your gifts. There really is no set rule for gift-giving, it is up to you as to what and how much you want to give... each to their own accord. Right now there are not many DISers that have signed up so the roster is quite small... so we could do it everyday... if there are many more that sign up, then we could do it all on one day and just lump our gifts in the Extenders on whatever day you choose. Bear in mind that it is a lot of fun to find something in your extender EVERY day.
