Jumping, Dancing & Jamming Our Way Through Walt Disney World! I'm With the Band Now!

I rode ToT for the first time in June. I rode it 3 times thinking it would get easier and better. NOPE! It scared me every time. I will continue to ride it because the kids like it but I don't think I will ever like it.

We made River go on this his first time and he did NOT want to ride it. Neither did I! River cried the whole time and said he hated it when it was over. A very nice young military man heard him and gave him a Mickey sticker for being brave enough to try it. Thats all it took and River wanted to ride it again and we closed the park that night with him riding it about 10 times in a row (there was no one else there). I'm still terrified of it I hate drops!

Thats great you got Hunter to try it and now he has a new ride! I may not say the "s" word but I'm thinking it the whole time!

I'm so happy your friend is doing so much better.

Have a great Thanksgiving trip I'm sure you'll bring back photos for us:)

:scared1: TOT is a ride I don't dee me doing again until Kadence asks me too when she gets older. I've only done it twice for Samantha and that was enough!

I hope you have a safe drive and a Happy Thanksgiving!

Great update, Lisa. I'm so glad that Hunter rode Tower of Terror. It is my ALL AROUND favorite ride at Disney.

Hope you had safe travels to see Lacey and Jesse. And I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving.

That's a great picture of Lacey and Hunter. Glad that Hunter went on ToT. I think the queue alone is just amazing. It's really an interesting ride with so many details to it. I think its so cool that the drop sequence is always different, although some are definitely scarier than others.

Glad Hunter went on TOT and loved it, I say more power to him!! I went on once in 1999 and that was enough for me! :scared1:

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hi Lisa! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family- yes I know you are headed out to visit Lacey and Jesse- I can't remember if you said who all was cooking what!

I had a super busy week, so I didn't check in, but by the time I did, your friend was already experiencing a miraculous recovery. I'm so glad to hear that for you and for her family and friends!

I loved your update! Good for Hunter for facing his fear of ToT. I smiled when I read about him admitting that a naughty word may have slipped out of his mouth!

I love the picture of Hunter and Lacey at the sign. Too cute!

This is very very wrong, but...

May Thanksgiving find you surrounded by loved ones:

Oh, my! I just spent a fair amount of hours in the last two days reading all 90 pages and catching up. I have to say that the wedding looked just lovely and I hope you're having a great Thanksgiving trip right now. Thanks as always for writing such detailed and fun reports. Can't wait to read more!

Tower of Terror is my favorite ride of all, and I am so glad Hunter liked it! I hope y'all had a good trip up and have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Safe travels on the way home.

I love ToT!!! My favorite ride in all of WDW!!

I hope your trip to TN has been as awesome as ours so far! We currently are breaking from the fun by watching LSU vs Arkansas so I thought I would catch up on being way behind on TRs!

Your PIN Code ordeal would make me furious!!

Not only is Tower of Terror a very fun and thrilling attraction, I also think it has one of the most interesting queue. It's just so pretty when you are in the lobby part! I'm glad Hunter was able to conquer his fear and enjoy the ride. :)

Hi Lisa!!! Just checking in! Hope all is well! Haven't heard from you in a while! :surfweb:

Good Lordy Ms. Gordy, it's been a week since I've posted here. Sorry!

We made our trip to Tennessee over the Thanksgiving holiday and almost everything about it was wonderful. The drive there was fantastic and took less time than Mapquest said it would. The drive home was all together another story.....almost 7 hours to go less than 150 miles! The total drive time home? 17 hours! We arrived home at 3:27 a.m. on Monday and I had to be at work at 8:30 a.m.

Monday night, I was tossing cookies for a few hours with an apparent stomach bug picked up from somewhere or somebody. Tuesday morning, John had it.

Last night, Hunter had a football banquet that we had to attend.

Needless to say, I am one tired, droopy-eyed woman and can't wait for Friday night so I can hit the bed early and sleep late on Saturday. I say that and then my darned internal alarm clock will probably go off at 5:10 a.m. like it does every other morning. :sad2:

I intend to post a mini-trip report on our trip to Tennessee when I can find the time to upload the pictures to Photobucket. I'm sure I'll do a Disney trip installment before I get around to posting anything about Tennessee. Just give me a little time to recuperate first.

Wait....I forgot to say that I read about the new special offer Disney World just posted and I was able to apply it to our existing reservation. I saved $491.88 which isn't a big discount but I'll take it!

Glad you got some kind of discount. Maybe there will be a better one before you go. But it looks like the discount% are less than previous years.

17 hours! :faint: That is horrible! I know that feeling - when the week has is only half done and you can't wait for the weekend.

Looking forward to hearing about your Tennessee Thanksgiving (leave out the ride home....:rotfl:)

I was a trillion updates behind and posted comments on your Facebook!

LOVED the dancing in the dark pictures & your jam session with Mulch Sweat & Shears! You guys are so stinkin' fun. I sincerely hope our dates cross sometimes so we can meet, I think my husband might die of embarrassment between us, but you and I would have a blast I think! :rotfl:

Have you found the video from Mulch Sweat & Shears?

So glad the pin ordeal got figured out, you are most certainly CORRECT that Disney should have treated you better. Shame on them for not returning phone calls. And don't even get me started on how long a phone call to them takes...being a TA I'm on the phone with them almost daily and a 30 second question takes a 5 minute phone call. :headache: And no, I do NOT want to take the survey!

Wow, 7 hours for 150 miles? That is crazy. Sorry you had such a horrible drive home and no time to sleep before work, then got sick! :sad2:

On a better note, yay for getting a good discount and saving money. Not the best discount, but better than none for sure! :woohoo: Hopefully a better one will come along later that you can switch to.
