July Trip Sprinkled Pixie Dust: Twins, Minivan & DVC 10/4 - The last day!

Oh, I love their looks after they drank the 'Beverly'. You could have just given them that drink & told them that's what sodas taste like. Then you wouldn't ever have to worry about them drinking one.

We are strict with the no soda rule too. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only parent this way. Nice to hear someone else is too.

How long were you stuck on TT? When my son rode it for his first time at 4 yrs. old it stopped for a LONG time. He has yet to get back on. He will be 8 next month so I hope he will try it again on our next trip. I don't know why stopping scared him so much. I will definitely not be doing single rider line with him any time soon.

We did the single rider line and got stuck on Test Track in the car that broke down. We had to get evacuated at 11 pm. DD (adult) and I were at the top of the car. Unfortunately we went from 60+ to 0 in about 3 feet.

We call that our most unique Disney moment.

I have heard before that things were looking a little worn at BLT -- that is so odd to me since it is just coming up on being a year old.

The goodies you received sound cute!

What a great afternoon/evening at Epcot! Teppan Edo is always fun and tasty, and I love the picture of the girls trying Beverly -- you can definitely see it in their eyes that they are not loving it.

Yeah, I wouldn't let my kids do single riders at 8 -- in fact, I still haven't let them try that at 13 and 10 -- now I do let them ride just the two of them on some rides.

How long were you stopped on Test Track?

Finally all caught up. You took some great pictures at night at MK! WOW I am impressed and really want to take a photography class so I can take pictures like that.

That is too bad the furniture already looks warn at BLT...but at least you got some FP out of it. Looks like some great days.

Thank you :goodvibes, but really, it IS the camera! The fast passes were awesome. I will talk about them soon!

I'm with you on the soda thing:cool1: The looks on the girls faces is priceless:lmao: I never let Jasmine have it either and she doesn't drink it to this day, she doesn't like it!!

Can't believe your guide at BLT....what is up with that:confused3 Not a very good selling feature if the furniture is already looking like it had better days:rotfl:

Great, I just started reading it. Now I have something else to keep me from cleaning! :lmao:

Could you please send me a PM with the phone #? I would love to call it while we are walking by.
I love Robo!!!

I know that my daughters think we are the only parents with the rule. haha

We were only stuck about 5 to 10 min. He is probably much braver now at 8.

WOW! I love that you got a picture too! I knew there was a glitch in my single rider theory!

Great report. Love the rides at 2:30 am. What great pics too.

Thanks!!:goodvibes

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:... give 'em a Beverly... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

and yet, I haven't tried...:rotfl2:

I am not sure what age will work for single riders, but I think If you and Charles sandwiched them, it would be okay next trip.

It was only 5-10 minutes.

It is sad about BLT. I have to tell you that while everyone around hear is getting used to/ learning what jeggings are...I happily already knew because of you and Jasmine! :lovestruc

That is so funny about the jeggings! We had casual day at work today and for $2 to charity we allowed the staff to wear jeans. Well one of the young girls had on jeggings and no one could believe they weren't jeans. She told everyone she bought them because Jasmine had told her how awesome they were....so much so that Jasmine has given away every pair of jeans she owns and only wears jeggings now:lmao:

Just realized I hadn't read your last update!

Dinner looks fun!

Can't believe you got stuck in the cold room!!! I HATE going through there even for those 3 seconds!!! I would have been complaining about the cold the whole time! Haha!!

Today is my "catching up on the Disboards" day - I am so enjoying your trip report. I agree - MK at 3am is my favorite time to be there. We only got one late night EMH this past trip, and I wish we could have done more. They are so magical when the parks are deserted!

Hello all! I plan on working on an update today. It will be a good escape.

My dad has been under hospice care for about 2 weeks (I think). My brothers and sil and I have been hanging out at my folks house for the past several days since he has declined rapidly.

Oh course, the start of school has kept me away from the Dis. Anytime I pick up my computer, it is to do school work...

So I think I might be on the kitchen sink day... I hope- those pictures are fun! We'll see...

I didn't take good notes for this day...tsk, tsk, thank goodness for photo EXIF!

We headed over to Epcot for early magic hour. We rode Test track:

Then headed to

Then, we travelled to Innoventions and did the Storm Struck exihibit. I highly recommend this, it is just a cool little lesson on hurricanes. It probably is much more useful for others than myself (we aren't prone to hurricanes near our home..a couple of hours in any direction though)

After safely exiting the storm, the girls had a blast at the Think Place creating video avatars.

It was neat how they were in their video game...

We then walked around to Mexico for lunch...sorry I don't have pictures- it was HOT! We bought from the kiosk to share:

Quesadillas - Grilled flour tortilla with chihuaha cheese, served with pico de gallo sauce, refried beans and rice $8.75

Flautas - Beef taquitos topped with sour cream, queso fresca, and green tomato sauce. Served with refried black beans and rice $9.75

Thanks allears

It was a good deal for counter service and delicious.

Then, we continued around the world...this day was especially hot.

Emma had been begging to get The American Dream since Hannah had it a couple of days before. I gave DH the job of stopping at the Fife and Drum Tavern to get the girls drinks while I set off for my own.

While enjoying my grand marnier slush and the amazing view, my family joined me. We headed back to the room to rest and cool off!

Evening plans: Garden Grill. I hope to be back soon to tell our experience.

Ah Epcot. It has such a big place in my heart! :lovestruc

You guys look THRILLED on Test Track! :lmao:

The Innoventions video game looks fun. I have a video of my sister and I playing IN a video game back in the mid-90s. Funny how they still have similar activities, although I'm sure ours was WAY less involved! I think it was just a shark swimming from one side of the screen to the next and we had to avoid him or get eaten!!

How were the flautas?? We had our eyes on them every day and just never got around to getting them.

Mmm, love frosty beverages in Epcot! I prefer the Grey Goose over the Gran Marnier but you KNOW my fav is the margarita! ANY cold drink is a good drink on a hot day!
