July or August ??

We are planing a summer trip YIKES and I was wondering mid JUly or early august to avoid crowds, rain and heat- any difference does anyone know? We went last aug 7-14 and crowd was doable.

I was wondering that same question last year after having great August vacations but having to go in July before my AP expired. July was great! I actually noticed the crowds getting heavier as we neared August, although that may have been due to the Fairytale package they offered. The weather was great, the parks were open late and we are going back this July.

August for lower crowds. But the hours start getting short in August that when the southern schools start school.

I voted for the July 4th weekend myself . But they do call me crazy going anywhere on a hoilday weekend. The crowds is huge but i love the atomospere.
