Well, our flight leaves Tampa tomorrow morning. We go through Charlotte and are scheduled into LAX at 2:30.

Then three days at Disneyland. Staying at the Grand Californian.

Can't wait to see you all at the Sailaway Party on Deck 10.

Hi everyone from beautiful San Diego!! DL was AWESOME and the fireworks on the 4th were GREAT!! Free High Speed here at The Del, but I doubt I'll get on much! I hope everyone is having fun packing!! We have 7 suitcases, plus a couple of carryons and the laptop. So, we''re putting all the bellmen to work this trip! I'll see everyone on Saturday!

Our daughter is 5 1/2. She is a huge princess fan, all of them. My nephew will be on board as well and he is 5.

It's official...the nametags are done!! I went to the district office this morning to finish cutting them. Tonight I'll stuff them in their cute little lanyard nametag holders while I'm sitting in front of the TV. Then I just need to sort them by family and I'll be ready to distribute them on Saturday. I'll be at the terminal early wearing the DIS group lime green pirate shirt. If you see me, come on over and get your nametags! I have nametags for all those who PM'd me with their info. If you don't catch me in the terminal, I'll have them at the sailaway party...deck 10 starboard side, midship, right after the lifeboat drill. I can't wait!!!!

swcruiser...I went to that UPS store in Upland and they had exactly TWO Rancho Cucamonga postcards, not the 30 I was hoping to purchase! Oh, well...it looks like it'll be generic California postcards for us...unless I happen upon some. I really need to start packing, so I don't have any more time to hunt! If you see any anywhere, let me know.

I'm still doing laundry and probably will be until Friday. It's amazing how many little things there are to take care of before leaving town.

What's the deal with the storm, Craig. I'm already queasy on quiet waters. Am I in for a rough ride?

That was the only store with Rancho Cards. I was in Mo Valley today and they had lots of San Bernardino, Temecula, and a map of the Inland Empire. Of course I had given up and just bought southern Ca ones on Sat. I have some Pomona, Ont, and I picked up a couple of Rancho ones too as alas there were no Fontana (hey who's heard of Fontana anyway?LOL). We are going to Johns Incredible Pizza tomorrow for summer camp field trip. I may look to see if they have any that say "montclair" and if so may pick a couple up.

We're having a great time in California. Boys are really enjoying Disneyland/CA !

I checked my reservations online to be sure everything was ok and found NO excursions or Palo reservations. Been on the phone with technical support everyday since Monday ! As of now, everything is looking good except for our dinner at Palo's. Tech support at Disney.com can see when I made it but do not see the entry on the Palo screens. Hope it is fixed before Saturday!

Lori, this is the "calm before the storm". Can't you sense the feverish pace of packing, organizing, list-checking, and general worrying that is going on?? All that translates into a general lack of posting on the DIS. Everyone's gonna be ready for that sail-away drink on Deck 10 at about 4:30 in (okay, this does sound good) 3 days time, I'll wager.

An update: everything has been restored on my account except for Kids Club reservations and a Palo's dinner. Tech guy said he will attempt to restore this evening. He indicated to me that about 200 reservations were lost the same evening that I did the online bookings. They are going to have people at the port trying to correct. Sounds like we are going to get summaries of all of our reservations at check-in.

Glad you got it straightened out. After reading your post, I went and checked my reservations and everything looks ok. Printed it out just in case.

I have been really busy both at work and at home trying to finish everything up. Today is my last day of work and tomorrow we will be at Disneyland!

The tropical storm has cleared up down south and right now there is nothing else brewing so hopefully we'll have some great weather.

Can't wait until Saturday!

From what I've read, security at the port already seems pretty tight. We called last night to see if I could bring a real pair of scissors onboard to finish some last minute sewing, and we were told that we had to have blunt ends and they had to be no bigger than nail scissors...

Oh well, who needs sleep tonight?
