July 9th 2005 - West Coast Cruise.

:sunny: Hello,
I have not packed at all but i have lists...Pattybell has 1 suitcase !!!! and carryons for each of them, she is a packing goddess!!!....i am trying to contain myself to 3 large bags,3 carry ons and my scrapbook stuff!!!???? I hope Longs is open on the 4th for postcards...we may have to make our own.

?????I was looking for the daily Navigators on our boards but i can't find it :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 Help Please?!?

We are counting the minutes until Saturday :jumping1: :jumping1: :thewave: :thewave:
Joan, the birthday girl on the 11th,
Josie ,dd age 8 and
Rick ,dh who loves me enough to go on the cruise !!

Thanks for the tip on Office Depot - I will get some tomorrow. Quick question for anyone who might have read more about this somewhere. I read earlier in this thread about the pirate tour in puerta vallarta, and the website marigalante*com*mx was mentioned (*=.). We booked the tour through Disney, and Disney says that under 5 are not allowed. So we were going to have our 2 year old go in the nursery. But now that I look at the website, the company says under 3 is free. So I emailed them, and they said under 3 can go, but they didn't clarify whether or not they are the company Disney is using. Can anyone clarify? I think I will post in the forum as well to see if any one just took the tour and knows. Thanks! Lisa

I found postcards at Barnes and Noble for $.75. I'm glad I passed on that great bargain because an hour later I found the same cards at Long's Drug Store for $.20. Who'd a thought. :confused3

Magnetic paper is available at Office Depot in packs of 10. It supposedly goes thru laser jets pretty well. I'll be trying it later tonight. Now if I could only figure out why my Mickey head is perfect on the screen and the ears are cropped when it prints. It just can't be my magical touch with all things electric, can it?

I'm not a computer gu, but I know that some printers (like mine) and some programs (like publisher) have threshold border that can't be printed in regardless of what it looks like on screen. The programs usually have guidelines that may be hidden that show this area. The only way I can solve this problem is by reducing image and printing draft to check.

This is the longest 4th of July!!!! This is me :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I can not sit still.

I swear the cat knows we are going. I took a nap, she's right there. I sit and scrapbook she is not only by me she is on my lap or on top of the table. Now she can be a loving cat but only when she wants. She jumped on the bed today so hard I thought we were having another shaker!! LOL!

I can hardly wait to see you guys again and to meet the people that couldn't make our meets.

DH is bugging me to help with the BBQ so I am off. We will be going to Quakes stadium too (Kim maybe we will see you among the 3,000 other folks! LOL!). Last night the fireworks around here didn't stop until after 1am. They are still legal in Fontana.

RE: Pirate tour in Puarta Vallarta
I called Disney and unfortunately the operator wasn't very helpful. She said she has no idea who the tour company is, and their description says 5 and over. Argh. Decisions...if I keep my booking w/Disney and just show up at the meeting place w/my two year old - I think the tour operator will be ok, but will Disney refuse to let me take him? I'm thinking I should just book directly with the company, but am nervous b/c if it is a different company I won't have the security of knowing the tour will wait for us if we get in late. Any advice? Happy 4th everyone!!

Where is everyone? Am I the only one having anxiety attacks? I have so much to do before Friday!!! I can't wait to be up on deck 10 with that sailaway drink in my hand.

Hope everyone had a good 4th!

We're here! Stopping the newspaper for a week, paying bills that are due during vacation, studying for an algebra test, fetching a dog sitter, and thinking about packing. The question of the day is....

ARE WE THERE YET?! :teeth:

I'm here! I just got off the phone with Disney Visa to transfer all our rewards to my rewards card!!!

How much cash do you think we should bring...and traveler's checks. I know we should bring a lot of ones (tipping) and fives and tens (taxis), but I don't want to have too much cash on hand. However, I read somewhere that DCL only cashes a certain amount of checks. Also heard that if we can charge things, to do that because the exchange rate is more favorable with a credit card. Have you all heard that? When we bargained in Ensenada, they gave us the dollar amount, not in pesos...will vendors take US dollars or do I have to figure out the exchange rate if I want to use cash. So many last minutes details...and we're moving to Indiana in 3 weeks...yikes!

4 Days...It doesn't seem real!

We're here, also running around frantically trying to get everything done before we leave. Not to mention that work's crazy since I need to close June before I go away, run payroll, cut commission checks, and prepare our quarterly reports... I'm gonna need that sailaway drink.

Sara

Does anyone know what time I should ask the shuttle to be there on the 16th to take us to the airport? Thanks!!! Lisa

There is 10 of us traveling. My daughter can't wait. The 2 1/2 year old doesn't really know what's going on. It sounds like there is a ton to do for all ages. Is there anyone from San Diego on board that week? :bounce:
