John has been ill the past few days, so we did not go out to celebrate. DD is visiting NH this week but will be starting her first nursing job in March!

I am wishing for spring to arrive..very tired of the cold weather and so are my aching joints, lol.

Hi guys - room for 4 more? I will be bringing my DNiece-10, DNephew-12, and my mother - maybe a few more. This is our 6th cruise with the mouse and we are quite excited. Hope we're not too late (>1 yr away ) to join in some DIS fun with you guys!

No Monday off for me ... it's a school snow day make-up day for us. DH is glad he's got a day off, though!

DH and I have Monday off.... we are both at AT&T...but DD has to work...she is lucky she still has a job. Her hours are cut to just 6 a week. The restaurant business is slow here. She is looking for another job.
Hope John gets better soon...bad storm here in Northern California...the wind is really bad...

Welcome Lisa always room for more to join in on the fun! No Monday off for us. We have a teacher work day in March and then two days off for Easter but that is it until school finishes for the year. I'm in need of a break but will have to live with the weekends.

Thanks for the well wishes for John! He developed a head cold last week, and on Friday shortly after we got to work he sneezed really hard and had a terrible sharp pain that would not stop. I rushed him to the emergency room at the hospital near work and they diagnosed a pulled chest wall muscle. I was relieved that it was not something worse.

He is doing a bit better, but is struggling to not cough or sneeze again as that would be very bad. We are catching up on tv shows this weekend, lol.

The kids had Presidents Day off from school, but DH and I had to work. I was out sick three days last week, so it was my first day back in nearly a week. I was caught up before I left last week, but today I had a long list of things to do. What will I do when we're gone for three weeks next summer?????

Hope you feel better, I had the cold last week and feeling run down, got the cold sore on lip grrrr...

I had a stupid dream.. I was dreaming that I got upgrade to Balcony then I saw sunset and take my camera, when I open the Balcony door then BIG STORM came in.....

but i thought it would be nice for upgrade but not see big storm lol....

very strange dream...

I had the balcony for Panama not this time...

I'm off from work today. They think I'm sick but I've really got a job interview. I really hope i get this job it's working with special need kids and it is what I've been looking for. Wish me luck everyone.

Interview today went well. I just got off the phone with the schools director and he wants me to come back on Thursday so hopefully this is a good sign. I really want this job it's working with developmentally and physically challenged preschoolers.

Hi everyone!!!

I haven't checked in for ages. Life is just so busy and i try not to spend too much time thinking about the cruise. One reason is that I am afraid we will have to cancel and then I'd be depressed, but also because I hope the time goes by quicker if I don't dwell on it too much. I tried to catch up on the posts, but it was just too much. We've had so much snow in Germany, coming from Coastal Virginia, I'm really not used to this. I sure hope spring gets here soon. I'm feeling a deep desire for a trip back to the states but really can't afford it because of the cruise. I sure would love to go shopping at Target on a Sunday (almost all stores are closed on Sundays in Germany). I miss my family too. We've already been here 18 months. I doubt I'll get back anytime soon. I'm trying to talk my parents into coming over for another visit. It sure would be cheaper than flying 4 or 5 of us back. Well I need to get to bed. I don't think I'll be going anywhere tomorrow because of ice. But I have a ton of stuff to do for my Brownie troop.

Does anyone think DCL would just cancel their european itinerary? I would be devastated! However, if anyone hears of them offering cheaper prices and discounts, I'd love to know, I'll reshop. Anything to soften the cost for us Canadians.

Ive been working 2 jobs and putting money away for this and doing alot of planning so that would be awful.

Ive been thinking about going back to school for my Masters in Nursing too. Hubby thinks im crazy but is also supportive. I precept all the nursing students at the hospital now and would love to teach but in some ways think hes right in waiting until I get back.

I hope not too. I'm concerned because we'd need to buy airline tickets and I think, Disney can cancel at any point. We didn't buy our airfare through Disney. I did buy trip insurance so, I'd be covered but still I would not be happy.

I really don't think Disney will cancel their Baltic / Mediterranean itineraries for 2010. They may sail with less-than-capacity passengers, but I don't think they'll cancel the cruises - they've spent so much money on it already.

I did see that they are combining some "behind the scenes" things between WDW and DL to save money and reduce redundancy.
