Good luck with the job opening Lissa! Hope you feel better soon..

I thought the Baltic cruises were selling very well - there are only 4 of them. I will not go to another cruise line either. For several reasons, one of them being that we use DVC points to cruise and not cash.

We went up to the Chicago Doorway to Dreams Travel Show event yesterday and had a great time! They gave away a 7 day trip and we all got nice prizes such as passport cases, luggage tags, binoculars, rice krispie treats and a nice padfolio with pen and paper inside.

Mickey, Minnie, even Tinkerbell were there in person too! They had a nice buffet of fruit and cake skewers with melted chocolates and whip cream to dip them in. Wrapped Mickey rice krispie treats were available to take home. All in all we had a wonderful time, and were very tempted to buy more DVC points with the incentives, but resisted, lol.

We got our cruise with points too and really don't want them to cancel..

Is that travel show going around the US? It would be fun to see out here in California...

I would be very surprised if Disney cancels the Baltic cruises. If they do were out of luck because we will not cruise with another cruise line. Though i wouldn't mind sailing on a ship not booked to capacity. Were on the waiting list for a cat 3 and would really like to have that.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

The show was at the Chicago Doorway to Dreams. They are opening another one in New York on Long Island I believe. Otherwise, I don't think they would be showing it elsewhere.

Do you get to Disneyland very often? I would love to live near there!

We live in Northern CA and get down there at least once a year. (this year will be two times) We are going this May for a week and will be getting the special Military tickets they are offering out here. Also when we are there it will the wine and food festival. Our friends Janet and Kenny, who will be on this cruise too, will be joining us:cool1: :cool1: !

I would appreciate some advice. We were contemplating flying into Paris on Saturday and spending a few days at DP before the ship sails on Tuesday July6.The airline tix are $200 cheaper to fly into Paris than London. And this will probably be our one chance to go to DP.Is this plan doable? How hard would it be to get from DP to Dover? Could it be done on Tuesday or would it be better to leave on Monday and spend the night in Dover?

Iknow this is still a long way off but I've got to do something to get my Disney fix.:rotfl: Besides, I know I'm preaching to the choir when it comes to early planning on the Disboards.

Thanks in advance.

This would be great if DCL & DP could package this......:woohoo:

The train is an easy way to get from London to DLP. We did this a few years ago and it worked great. The train is called the Eurostar. Just google it and you can find the details. Once in London have several options for transfers to Dover.

OK. I'm beginning to feel like a thread killer. Where did everyone go?

Sorry, Jeff. You're far from a thread killer. :rotfl: On behalf of ALL of us, thanks so much for working on your fabulous website for our cruise! It's awesome!!!

Things have been crazy around here. Last Monday, school was cancelled because we received quite a bit of snow, Tuesday was a 2-hour delay due to black ice... but today it's going to hit 80 degrees! :upsidedow

Life's been busy, too. I'm keeping up on reading the posts on this board, but I know I haven't been good about replying. Please forgive me... I do love you all! :grouphug:

We're going to WDW for 4 nights and then hopping on a 3-night Disney cruise over spring break in just a few weeks, so I've actually been much more active on that meets thread lately. (I'm sure going to miss you and your family this time, nzdisneymom!) I'm the one who's organizing the FE Exchange and DIS Meet for that cruise. :) Once that's over, I solemnly promise to give this thread my full attention! :)

Message boards have been blocked at work - so that means I don't have access to them regularly any more -- since I have to fight with the kids to get computer time (LOL).

I am working today and it is so boring I am managing to catch up on my reading. The only problem is that the boards make me want to go on vacation now, and our next vacation is a 7-day cruise on the Wonder in November. I might go crazy before then.

I must have had a senior moment while writing my last post. I totally forget we are going to Costa Rica for a week in April. It is officially a business trip, but there will be plenty of time for fun! I am in a much better mood now!

LOL - that's why I try to keep my upcoming trips in my sig line - so I don't forget!

I've been lurking. Busy planning our first trip back to WDW in June. Going with four other families (Grand Gathering of 17). Then we'll meet up with DH's cousins on the Wonder. We'll wave to Jeff and family as we pass by at MCO.
