Just dropping in to say "hello". Haven't been on the boards since we booked the cruise because things have been very busy for me at work, my husband had knee surgery on January 6 and my father passed away on December 27 so many things have changed since we booked. However, the one great thing which hasn't changed is we are still planning to cruise with all of you and are looking forward to our magical time together.

We are from Canada and did spend three or four days in London in July 2007 after our last Med cruise but we aren't really familar with the area. Does anyone know if we fly into London or elsewhere? If so, how do we then get to Dover, England? We booked our flights with DCL so do not have any information on this yet.

The pre-cruise excursions people are talking about sound interesting. Are you thinking of doing those on your own or do you think DCL will plan some excursions the day before the cruise?

How are you? I am sorry to hear about your father and hope your husband's knee is okay...

I lost my mother and father when I was younger.. I still missed them...

Dover : better take the trains from London to Dover take about 2.45 hours...national bus takes about 5 hours Or private taxis take you to Dover ?

We are doing okay. The girls keep us so busy with all of their activities. It is difficult because Murray won't be driving for three or four months after surgery. That means I am the one to do all of the running around in amongst my 1 fulltime job and another parttime job. I have actually got a promotion since our last cruise together. I am now the Vice President Finance. This requires a great deal of my time but I love what I am doing.

Catryna still talks about your daughter and is looking forward to seeing her at the children's activities on the ship again. It was Catryna who your daughter was giving to in the Secret Mickey event I had organized on our last cruise. We had so much fun with that and the girls really enjoyed looking in the fish extender each time we went back to the room to see if anyone had left anything.

Thanks so much for the info about the train and bus. I sure hoe DCL picks the train for us. We booked our flights and everything through DCL this time so I sure hope everything works out okay. We will find out in December 09 I guess because we booked that cruise and flights with them as well. Just Murray and I are going on that cruise (December 12 to 19). It is our 28th anniversary on December 12 and 3rd anniversary since our vow renewal on December 18. As soon as we saw the dates of that cruise we thought it was meant for us. Our older daugther agreed to look after our younger girls so everything worked out well. We are so excited about our upcoming cruises. I swear we are definitely addicted now. Before 2005 we had never cruised. Now we can't stop.

I think I need to light our fireplace today. It is -20 celius with the windchill today so the house feels a bit chilly.

Sorry to hear of your lose. I'm fortunate to still have both parents and both are relativly healthy. We've finally convinced them to join us on a cruise. They'll be doing the Western this summer with us. After all, in the end our memories are almost all we have.

We are trying to convince my Mom to go on a cruise with us but she is sure she won't like it. It is too big for her, too loud and she is convinced that the motion will make her sick. Will keep working at it though.

My Mom is afraid of the water. I think my Dad has always wanted to go, but has said it's her decision. I put their grand kids (my girls) on the task last year and it worked. Their my secret weapon.

We gave mother in law's surprise present for our 1st Wonder Cruise... then she was a bit disappointed for Med Cruise as she want to come...

At Med Cruise, about 6 weeks before, I saw Cat 12 reduction prices and I went over to in law and father in law was refused to come and mil want to come...I had a good talking with fil, then fil changed his mind and they came with us and they said it was best holiday... I booked for them for Cat 12 but they got Cat 9 with no window....

Fil was retired because of his ill and he find the cruise help him more relax...

They want come back on Disney Cruise as they cannot go to Florida over long flight which is not good for fil's health...

Trouble that we have not told them that we booked this cruise because we knew too expensive for them...

Maybe we wait until 6 weeks before to see any reduction or Cat 12...

nzdisneymom - I am sure that Gary remember him as they enjoyed chatting together on first day...on Med Cruise...

Oh dear, you are busying woman, busy mum too also busy with work too....
that is great you are doing the Vice President Finance. Poor you driving like Taxi!!!

My brother in law Jon went to Canada for one year last month in Tornoto, he had few interview but didn't get the job... He is staying with mil's friend at the moment...

I know Canada have lot of snowing and here is snowing, kids got exicting because very rare, today look lot of snowing....

Oh yes, Mickey Secret was good, but we don't know who gave our kids as we missed meet up because same time as Palo - early lunch....

Will you doing it again for next year?

Pity, that we had not got chatting as we only met on first day at theatre then I saw you at departed with family... Your three girls are lovely with blonde hairs... Maybe this time, we meet up more...

Looking forward to meet you all and I think Olivia will remember Catryna when she see her.

Here's pixie dust that your DH has a full recovery from his knee surgery. My DH had knee surgery two years ago and it didn't really stop his pain. I guess knees are tricky to operate on.
