I'm packing NOW and I feel your pain! I have one big suitcase just filled with cruise stuff! Since we are driving I am now at the I-don't-care-as-long-as-it-fits-in-the-car stage. My vacation starts on Tues. and is 20 days long (the more stressful my job gets, the longer my vacation gets).

Wow! And people are looking at me like I'm crazy for being gone 2 weeks! You must have a very stressful job.

I'm trying to do this with one suitcase and a carry-on. Don't know if it will work yet, but I still have a lot more time before the suitcases come out.

Does anyone know if there's a character breakfast on this cruise? I know there are sometimes on the longer ones as there was one on my 8-night last summer, but I didn't know about the 7-nights.

So is anyone staying in the Disney Suites on our sailing?

If so I would love to see it. Our past cruise (Wonder) someone was staying in it an offered to show anyone that wanted to see to connect with them and set up a time to go see it.

As far as Character breakfasts, I think we will have one, but I've asked on the main cruise board, just to be sure.

Since sending a package to the ship with my FE's might be a little hard is it possible to ship the box to Animal Kingdom for our Pre-cruise night stay? Shipping is cheaper than over weight on luggage

There are no character breakfasts on the Fantasy or the Dream.

Oh! Good to know! We did not do it on the EBTA because we figured we would do one with the DGC on this cruise! Well, for sure we will do it on the WBPC cruise next May!


By the way, does anyone want to meet one morning, maybe around 11 for pin trading? There most likely will be opportunities to trade with CMs. This would be with fellow Disers. If there is interest, we'll pick a lounge and get together. Any interest?

On our last cruise, one of my favorite gifts for me personally was a mini bottle of rum. I was planning on giving them to the parents on the list, but then I saw a post on the Cruise Line forum where people said they would be offended by getting such a gift.

Frankly, that thought never crossed my mind. Now that it has, I thought I should ask if anyone on the FE exchange doesn't drink or has a objection to getting such a gift. If so, I'll use an alternate gift for those people.

I have no objections to receiving rum as a gift. While I wouldn't consider us drinkers, we imbibe the pirate nectar every once in a while. Especially when received as a gift. Did you know that rum and coke is the most popular mixed drink in the US?

We have two fish extenders. The adults are on the one hanging in front of 12522 and the kids are on the one hanging outside 12504.

We have 2 rooms, we will post parents FE on one door, and the 3 kids on the other. And feel free to fill parents FE with rum, bourbon, or a nice sweet white wine for DW
