I'll be there from July 22 - July 27th staying at the DVC at the Grand Californian.

FYI - Believe the hype. Cars Land is great. We went to a special AP night that I paid for. All three new rides are fun, and the land is amazing.

We'll be at DLH July 14-16. Since we have Deluxe AP - you can likely find us at Trader Sam's on Saturday.
Thanks to everyone for all the posts and trip reports. I used to pop in from time to time to look for answers to specific questions – but I have been absolutely obsessed since June 15th. Even with the crowds this trip is going to be fantastic!

...that we are telling the children that we're going on their first vacation trip ever! I've got a large box, themed helium balloons, and spent all day yesterday creating tickets for each segment of the trip.

1. Flying to California
2. Going to Disneyland
3. A Day at the Zoo
4. Visiting the Ocean

They are 4 and 7 and I've downloaded the Explore Disneyland app on their iPad which they have played with quite a bit over the last 4 months so they have a little context of what it's all about. In the car the other day the older was wishing she could go to Disneyland *snicker*. "I don't know sweetie, it's so far away. Maybe when you're like 10."

Getting closer! Two weeks and we leave. Received our photopass plus voucher in the mail yesterday. Only thing I am waiting on is extra batteries for my gopro hero hd 2 camera(so I can capture the rides and parades).

Gettin' pretty excited.

Aww thanks! Tomorrow looks to be one long but glorious day! Leaving for the airport at 6am. Arrive at SNA 10:50am. Checkin at DLH 12ish. Visit DL first for Bengal Barbque for lunch and a 6pm dinner ressie at Cafe O for my Monti Cristo fix. Then we have tickets for the AP Glow with the Show event at close to midnight! Might not make the Sunday EMH!

I'm almost packed! Mom and Dad just arrived with my nephew and his girlfriend from Seattle about an hour ago. My sister, my niece and her fiance, and my little nephew arrived last night, but they're staying with my sister's best friend until we leave tomorrow. My nephew and his gf might spend the night here tonight since they're driving with Mom and Dad, but that's up to them. I'm driving on my own to pick up my daughter from her other grandma's house and we'll drive the rest of the way together.

It's been a busy two weeks, and now I just can't wait to get there! My daughter and I are going to see Brave at the DTD theater tomorrow evening. So excited!

Could you please change my dates to July 6-10 rather than 8-10? We are visiting friends in San Diego in the middle of that time, but we decided to spread some DLR fun on both sides of that visit!

This time next week I'll be in the air en route to LAX. Can't wait!
