LOL! It just shows our acceptance of everyone, even aging tattooed rockers. I saw the show the other night only because I didn't have control of the remote. I was watching football......

My only concern about the show was that it would show the university in a bad light, but it didn't. So far, everything is positive. It will be a great recruiting tool.

I just checked, and we are down to about 10 months! Now I'm hoping the time will start to fly. I have football to get me through January, and then we will be into the downhill stretch!

I'm a little bummed I have not found more bargains on summer clothes. Either they did not have much or I'm just not liking any of it?!

We haven't had much time lately to get out shopping. It's on the schedule this weekend, but so is tons of other stuff. We have the Air Show at Offutt this weekend. Rich's military ambulance will be making it's first official appearance. He was at a client of ours who owns a body shop last night prepping and painting it. I think he got home just after 4am.

Have you dried out from all the rain over the weekend? We could use some of that up here. It's getting pretty dry again, but they saying a chance for showers today thru Friday. Then of course, hot as blazes this weekend. It is always hot for the air show.

Rain Rain go away!! Getting sick of it but my yard sure looks good! Still raining as I drove into work this morning!

Enjoyed Tommy Lee again last night! I thought of you when they showed the football stadium!

One of the guys I work with told me they showed the half time show where he performed. I was there!

Still no rain here. It is very foggy and nasty here this morning. It's still dark when I come in to work, so it's hard to tell if it's cloudy or not. They are saying hot and humid for today. Yuck.

I'm sooooooooo sick of rain! Lost electricity about 1am this morning! Good thing I have a back-up alarm clock!! It's nasty and humid out right now and storms AGAIN are coming tonight! Creeks and rivers are over flowing!!!

Just made our plans for hubby and I to go to Vegas for our anniversary in Oct.! Hoping that will help pass the time until it's time to CRUISE!!!!

LOL!! Of course I was there. It was a little odd seeing a film crew in the middle of the band, but we finally figured it out. There was no advance notice that he would be with the band.

Have a great time in Vegas! I went a few years ago with my online group, including Deb. That was a lot of fun. DH and I have talked about going, but never seem to make it happen.

We finally got some rain last night. Not a lot, but enough to get the ground wet. I don't see anymore on the radar, but KS got hammered again!

Yes, the rain woke me up again this morning! And I got to chase one of my trash cans down the street!! That was fun at 6am in the dark! NOT!!!

The back-to-school-dance is tonight so I hope it does not rain anymore!! The girls will be VERY upset if their hair is messed up!

We generally have a game or 2 that the military is honored. We don't have too many active duty units here, except Offutt. We have tons of Guard/Reserve units, most are, or have been deployed. I can't wait for Saturday!!

For Sunday's practice, they invited the students to watch, 4000 showed up! Of course, for the Spring Game, which is a scrimmage, we had 63,416 show up! I, of course, was there.

Time is starting to go fast now. I think we leave 10 months from today!

Keeping check airfares but waitining for a deal! But if gas prices keep going up, there won't be any deals!

We booked our air through Disney with the understanding we could change that if we found a better deal. I will talk to my TA as soon as she gets my folks off to the UK. I found a few more end of season deals for Jess yesterday. She will have a killer wardrobe, but she looks great in everything!

Fall is on the way! Lows for the next few nights in the 50's! Now if only the pollen count would go down.....guess we can't have everything. 3 more days to football!!

Good idea to keep checking for better deals than DCL because I've always been able to beat the cruise line prices!! At least around here, cruise line prices are close to double what a 'normal' rate is!

I'll look around. With the way the airlines are canceling flights, I don't know. I know all of that will straighten out before next year, but geez. Glad I'm not flying right now.

This has bee a lost week! Between my dad and my nephew both having surgery, it's been crazy!

It was busy for us too, and my whole week was knocked off kilter because they cancelled my exercise class for a week for floor resurfacing. I am actually anxious to get back tonight.

My Huskers won this week also! It wasn't pretty, but I heard your game wasn't either. The way I look at it, it's a W, and we can both say we did better than Oklahoma! Go Horned Frogs!

I am ready for the cruise too! My job is making me crazy, and my boss is going on vacation with the head of the company for 2 weeks at the end of the month (no bosses). Right before billing. Great timing, huh? That's ok. I will be gone over billing next July, and he will have to do it all himself! Assuming we are still in business.

It's almost Friday! Hang in there.
