So how was it?? Heaven right? I just had my first pedicure EVER last week as I too hate my feet or strangers touching them. (of course I love foot rubs from DH ) The lady massaged my feet and legs for about 10 mins!! It was so wonderful I think I have to go back today or tomorrow for another, and because the polish is starting to chip. Katie gets her eyebrows done every two weeks. I have tweezed so much of my eyebrows over the years that the only hairs that grow back are gray ones.

Nothing but rain here for the last week too. We are on deck 7 too, Wow, great upgrade! Anyone else on that deck?
Time to go pack for dh and 4 kids Countdown: 2 days!

Thanks for the link to Shirley's info on traffic - she's very helpful. I think it's very gracious of her to give all the info, along with her phone number for any questions. :thumbsup2

OH a pedicure, one of my favorite things :yay:

I have one about once a month or so in the summer and it's just so nice to have someone give you that foot/leg massage. As a matter of fact, my appointment is later today! Brianna & Kacey had theirs done yesterday, along with eyebrow waxes (I get my eyebrows done today too).

I've been letting my hair grow just so that I could put it up while on the cruise - it gets so hot, my hair is thin and straight so once that humidity hits it, I look wild :crazy:

I've never heard of the eyelash tinting/perming either - where do you have that done? Does that mean you don't have to use mascara?

BTW - I'm on deck 6 - anyone else???

Things are moving along here. I HAVE to finish my laundry today! I was pretty busy yesterday, and have a full schedule today! We have Jess's appt to get her braces off today!! :dance3:

It shouldn't take me long to finish up my packing. Jess wants another book, so we will hit the book store after that appt.

I've already walked today, and I'm deciding what time I need to get up to walk and get everyone ready on Friday! :rolleyes1

I will need the stress relief. Besides, I need to get everyone up and moving so they can be showered and the car loaded by the time I get back! Ya, right. Wishful thinking! :lmao:

We will be the group with the clean eyebrows! We all had ours done yesterday. Then we hit the bank for the change turn in. Over $300! Cool! :woohoo:

I talked to Deb from CT yesterday, and I will pass along the info about the meet.

Last night dh decided he didn't want to take the laptop. No biggie. I think I would rather spend that time having a drink with the family anyway. :thumbsup2

Ok, I need to get moving. I have to get another load of laundry in, and get moving. Jess has an appt at 10:00, and neither kid is up yet.

Oh, before I forget, we are on deck 8 with Deb from CT. My family is pretty spread out. Inlaws are on deck 7, parents, 1 sister and brother on 6, and my other sister is on 2, I think.

Brianna and I are on our way to Barnes & Noble to get summer reading books -Kacey can use most of Brianna's from last year. Then it's home to do what I hope will be the final laundry (wishful thinking), pick up Kacey from tennis camp and head off to get my mani/pedi.

We are flying from Moline, IL!!!

We usually fly out of Cedar Rapids, IA, but I snagged a $158 direct flight deal way back in February. Unfortunately, it is a 7:15 am flight . . . it takes us an hour to get to Quad Cities, so we will be getting up at 4 am!!! :faint:

My local hairdresser's place does the hair, mani, pedi, waxing, tons of spa stuff. I only get my hair, b wax and eyelashes done there. I go to the cheaper mani/pedi place for that stuff and eyebrows.

I guess I'll start wearing my green nametag at the Hyatt. People will look at me more strangely than ever. :rotfl2:

I have been running ALL day!!! SOOOOOOOOO glad I took today off!
Still have to head back into Wichita to take the cat soon! :sad2:

Alexa got her retainer this moring and now talks very funny! Prett much sounds like Jan Brady!! :lmao:

She'll get used to it soon I'm sure!

I still have so much to do! We leave at 12:55pm tomorrow (thurs) which means we'll leave the house around 10:30-11am!

So meet is still on after/drill after/launch right?!!? Someone please grab me if you see me wondering around looking for you all. I'll have the KSU (kansas state) shirt on! So will my sisters but if you grab them, they'll point you to me!! :rotfl2:

I'll be back on here again tonight!!!! I can hardly stand the wait!!

OH, I lived through the pedicure! It just tickles so bad! Won't be something I do often but it was okay! :thumbsup2

I don't like the tickle part of the pedicure either. But I suffer to have decent looking toes. I convinced (begged is more like it) Mom to get a pedicure before this trip. She got one a week ago to try it out. Thank God. Looks soooo much better. She even went out and got herself a nice ankle bracelet too.

I'm so excited and stressed! I just need to get on that plane then it will be too late to remember, "did I pack this, did I pack that"!!

Hello Everyone!

I'm so excited I'm about to bust! I am jealous that so many of you are leaving tomorrow to head to Florida (and I live here LOL). My husband has to work until Friday :crazy2:

so we will not be leaving for the Port until Saturday morning. We are meeting my sister and others at her inlaws first, then they are driving us over to the Port. At least that way we don't have to leave our car there.

Lisa from KS was right, we are on deck 6.

Ok, I have a few more things to get in there. I need my extension cord and surge strip. Other than that, I think I just need everyone's toothbrushes, etc that we will throw in at the last minute. :banana:

We have 4 suitcases, a garment bag, and I had to pack my rolling cooler full of stuff since even folded up, I didn't have any room in the suitcase for it. :sad2:

I filled it with the meds, sunscreen, extra hats, etc. I am READY! :thumbsup2

I'm sure there is something major I am forgetting, but if there is, I can buy it!

Looks like there will be just a couple of us after Lisa from KS flies out tomorrow! We fly out Friday mornng. Tomorrow will be spent cleaning up the house, and one last load of laundry tomorrow night. My sister and her family are coming in late tomorrow afternoon, so we are all going out to dinner tomorrow night. I just cleaned my fridge out so I am NOT cooking. Oh, and I have to run to the store to get a couple more things for the dog sitter.

I'll talk to whoever is left tomorrow, and everyone else have a safe trip, and we will see you Saturday!! :cool1:
