I'm Tinkerbell's shadow's mom. I'm new to the board without enough posts to PM yet. She mentioned that you had some questions about Disneyland. I grew up in San Diego and have been there many times. We love it. It's not as impressive as Disney World with it's numerous parks, but it is the original and has it's own charms and even some rides that the Magic Kingdom does not! Like Alice in Wonderland, Indiana Jones, and the Matterhorn. Did you have specific questions?

Does anybody watch NBA basketball games? if so who do you want to win the finals, I'm rooting for Lakers I hate the Celtics, being so close to New York you can say I am a New York fan so hate Boston teams, I'm a big Nets fan though

I am sure I will have more questions later....I need to go online and check it out..it has been a while since I have even looked at it! Can't wait to meet all of you on the cruise!

I've never driven from Disney to the port before. I just got a map from AAA and it looks to be about 35 miles with a couple different options of freeways to take. Souldn't be too bad on a Saturday or Sunday but I will be checking with a friend who lives in LA for a recommended route. I think 3 days should be plenty for seeing Disney and California Adventure. I checked ahead on the Disneyland calandar and it shows that Small World will be closed for refurbishing DD13 is just thrilled that the Matterhorn will not be down. I'm happy to answer any questions as they arise. Can't wait to meet everyone, too!

My dad loves the Matterhorn, he has been on it and I haven't what's the Matterhorn like I haven't been to disneyland in or CA wll I have been too CA but I was like 7 monthes old

It's like a roller coaster in a mountain. My DD13 loves it because it does not have any big drops or upside down loops, but has smooth metal tracks and goes fast! Hope you'll get a chance to try it sometime!
