Thomas the Tank was the newest episode. It was on this past Monday.

These are the episodes for this coming Monday:

Heading South

In this episode, Jon and Kate pack up the kids and head south for a speaking engagement and a trip to a nearby beach. But how will the sextuplets handle the long car trip now that they're a little older?

Wild Horses

In this episode, Jon and Kate engage the curiosity of their animal-loving children by taking them on an open Jeep tour which follows wild horses dwelling along the coastal beach. They also climb a lighthouse and find out one of them is afraid of heights.

Then the following week there is an hour long episode
Beach Trip

When the sextuplets were 3, Jon and Kate introduced them to the beach, which proved to be a cold, windy, and sandy disaster of a day. Now, they brave the beach again with the hope that they will get smiles and laughter instead of whining and tears.

I'm wondering if they were in Chincoteague for this one? or Assateague? Anyone know?

They may have been in Chincoteague or Assateague for the wild horses but not the lighthouse. The lighthouse is not open to climbing and the area around it was actually closed for a while because the railing around the tower had broken and part of it fell to the ground. If they were in the south they may have climbed Cape Hatteras. Not all lighthouses are open for climbing anymore.

I don't think Hatteras is open for climbing anymore.

The only episode I can't watch reruns on is the Utah trip. That horribly long plane ride when Kate breaks down, I would have too. I can't imagine being on a flight that long.[/QUOTE]

Last year I was on a flight from New York to Louisville it was a Friday afternoon and I had been at a teaching conference all week. We had an hour delay in the terminal and a 3.5 hour delay on the runway. At one point the pilot announced that the restrooms were going to be locked because they were full. It was a horrible experience but the entire time all I could think about was what if I had my (at the time) 1 year-old twins and my 4 year-old on the plane. I totally felt for Katie. I'm not prone to tears but I would have cried bucket fulls!!!

It cracks me up how many people on this and other threads have an 8 is not that big of a deal attitude...seriously??? My singleton and twins are exactly the same ages span as J&K twins/sextuplets. I can't even imagine my singleton being a twin and my twins being sextuplets. My house is unbelieavalbly loud and money and time are always issues to be handled. But really the noise level is something I can't even imagine.

My guess is that they will be in the Outer Banks. Maybe in Corolla?

I haven't gone through all of this thread, so this may have already been posted. I have throroughly enjoyed watching this show in the past. I belong to a SAHM group, and recently one of our moms brought to everyone's attention the blog that has been done by Aunt Jodi's sister. It seems that everything isn't at it seems on the show, and Jodi won't be starring in the new season. Apparently TLC offered to pay her for being a part of the show this season and Kate had a fit. I have found the reading interesting, but am also taking it with a grain of salt. For anyone interested, the link is:

Yep, this has been mentioned here before...but thanks for the link. New people are joining this thread all the time and I'm sure many would be very interested to read the blog. I check it every couple of days to see if she has posted anything new...nothing for awhile now.

Omgosh I'm sorry to hear that! I would have broken down for sure!

Just saw the lighthouse, it's the Currituck lighthouse. My FAVORITE!!

I can't believe they took those kids up to the top, I took my girls up there when they were 8 and 10 and I was a nervous wreck!!!

Hatteras is still open for climbing it was closed for a brief period when it was moved. I forgot about Currituck, it was the only one I didn't get to see on the Outer Banks when I was there.

Actually it was open for free after they moved it because I climbed it then. Then they had some problem with the stairs and closed it again for awhile. I forgot that it opened back up.

When I lived in NC we would go to the Outer Banks about 2 or 3 times a year, I love it out there.

They were deffinetley in the outerbanks and probabley pine island but the horses were corrola because in one shot you could see the famous green booy in the backround the light house that was currituck beach light house ive climbed it and its still open its not hatteras because that one is striped
but 8 kids wow and hermit crabs to go with it.

I thought both episodes were good too. I love Alexis' comment when Kate asked her what was at the top of the lighthouse "It's just a building". They seem to be showing a lot of her lately.

The show really is my secret addiction. But sometimes after watching I feel quite inadequate for lack of a better word.

Kate seemed much more...positive, nice, calm, kind...pick a word. She seemed less stressed--happier, not only at the beach but also during the interview.

And because they said it was Corolla! ;) Just giving you a hard time! Hehe!!

Vacations will do that to a person. Well, actually I usually feel like I need a vacation after our vacations. I agree, though, she seemed a little mellowed out in these episodes.

That was cute. Alexis is such a cutie.

I agree. She was definitely calmer before as well as during their trip. She definitely seemed to genuinely (sp?) be enjoying the trip. And I think the kids are enjoying it. The horse tour thing looks really cool. I definitely wouldn't climb up the lighthouse though. Look at it, but not climb it. And how cute was it when Mady was talking to her hermit crab "do it for Mommy." She also seemed calmer, but maybe because they didn't show her as much.

Next week looks interesting. They are still at the beach, but the sextuplets somehow get a hold of chocolate cause and get covered in it!
