Two things stuck out from the Today show article. First that J&K have some kind of arrangement where each parent decides on the filming of the kids when they're with them. That might be a HUGE problem in court.

Second, Kate's lawyer said that she plans to continue with the show and honor her contract. Why? Because he said she loves doing the show.

I don't know that it's ok to change everything - if they move again that's just another change. I think for the time being, they need to stay where they are and continue in their current life style. Maybe get the kids involved in looking for another house. Mady and Cara I'm sure have a good idea of things they'd like/dislike and could help reading through the ads and the little kids would love to look at different pictures of houses. Let them be a part of the process and make suggestions. I think the kids are too young to be allowed to make major decisions but should be allowed to make suggestions on different things.

Personally, I really hope they keep the house. No, it isn't necessary, but the kids really do seem to love it and even if the show ends, there is still going to be interest in the kids, the house provides them some security and privacy. They could never move back to the old house. Aside from the paparazzi, there are alot of crazy people out there and it is just too exposed IMHO.
Plus for the kids, I think another big change like moving would just be too much.

Yes, wasn't that interesting. "KATE loves doing the show". Which is just fine and dandy, but the show is mostly about the kids, not her. What do the kids think?

I agree. I don't think the kids need anymore big changes so I hope they don't have to move again. I was hoping that they were going to slowly end the show. Like Kate gets her talk show and they film less and less until it stopped. I think abruptly ending filming may be hard for the kids because it is their norm and they see the TLC staff as friends to play with. People not agree with them doing the show, but it is their norm.

I'm worried the kids will have the child star issues.. I've seen a lot of child stars mention how hard it was when their hit show or "it" stage was over and it seemed like they didn't matter anymore. But then again, after what Jon said about TLC, I doubt TLC would've made a filming schedule or do anything to help the kids adjust to life after the cameras.

I'm probably in the minority but I like Kate and I think she's a very good mother. She's a strong, intelligent woman who did her best, and handled the issues with Jon in a classy way, which was totally opposite of him. I can't even begin to imagine how to survive the way she did with all those kids, particularly if they didn't have the show and the opportunities and money the show gave them to care for them. I probably would have had a nervous breakdown if not. I watched Jon on the recent interview on Larry King, and he looked like an immature child. This is obviously motivated by the announcement in the change in the name of the show, whether it is financial or ego related. I hope Kate goes on to do something, but craft shows, etc., no way. I laugh when I see women here commenting about her being a bad mother bc she can't do crafts. I'm a twin, and my mother never did crafts with me, ever, does that make her a bad mother, I don't think so. Kate has a lot more to do trying to take care of these kids then to worry about crafts, the way my mother did when she had twins and worked full time. I think the show was done primarily for the kids and always had been. Kate's a survivor, and she's done a great job. She's not perfect, and never has she said so, and neither is anyone else.

I think Jon and Hailey split up. I just logged into twitter and here is the latest from Hailey No matter what I will always be there for Jon.Whether we are together or just friends,he will always have my family and my support. She also no longer has Jon as one of the people that she is following on Twitter. Sounds to me like it is finally over.

I think it's over based on her posting Rhianna's song. I don't think she liked the Larry King interview last night. Maybe she doesn't think Kate2 is as irrevelant as Jon does. But I will say I noticed she wasn't following Jon on her Twitter account last week.

I don't remember anyone saying Kate is a bad mother for not doing crafts. People said that it is laughable for her to do a crafty show when she doesn't do those things in real life.

Kate has had a lot of help since before those children were born. She had around the clock care from volunteers and a personal nurse the first year of their lives. After that, according to Kate, they had between 30-40 volunteers helping them PER WEEK. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it was stressful, but to say she didn't/doesn't have help is not correct information. How many seasons was the show on before they showed the person who folded, the person who put away, and the person who ironed their laundry. TLC showed what they wanted. They wanted to make it look like they had no help, when in reality that had help and a lot of it.

I'm glad Jon is listening to his new lawyer. If that is what it took to wake him up (assuming he is woke up), then so be it. I hope someone can slap some sense into Kate now.

As for Hailey...I posted before that this would never last so if it's over, I'm not a bit suprised at all.

And I did catch where Jon said "work on our marriage". I dont know if he meant to say that or not. I'm thinking he meant friendship, which in reality is REALLY want needs to happen. Jon acted like a idiot but maybe Kate will be able to forgive him enough to get along for the kids and stop bashing each other on TV and magazines. I mean they both have Christian backgrounds. Forgiveness on both sides would speak volumes for those kids.

Hailey wasn't following Jon on Twitter for a little while then she started following him. Today is the first time that I noticed that she was no longer following him. I am pretty sure he was on there when she posted the Rihanna link but was removed shortly after that. At least that is what was shown when I logged in.

On her Twitter page on Friday, the reality dad’s girlfriend didn’t seem hopeful about their romantic future.

“Its time 2 move on,” she Tweeted. “This drama has taken over my life, nevermind the entire like world

But the girl who Jon recently called his “soulmate” said that she’d always be there for the embattled father.

“No matter what I will always be there for Jon.Whether we are together or just friends,he will always have my family and my support,” she Tweeted.

Jon has been in the headlines once again this week for trying to halt production on “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” stating on “Larry King Live” on Thursday night that he wanted the kids “taken off the show” – coincidentally or not, in the wake of the its title change to “Kate Plus 8” and Jon’s removal from the TLC show title.

For his part, Jon seemed to echo some of Hailey’s statements on Thursday night, telling Larry, “She stands behind me no matter what. Whether we’re together or not, she said she stands behind me.”

I like Kate as well. I also like Jon but often forget because he has been such a jerk this year.
