can you imagine the therapy session those kids will need?????

"my mom always insists that 'our life is the show, the show is our life-everything on the show is REAL', but my dad insists it was 'scripted'...who am i realy, am i "me" or a some writer's version of me? if it was'nt real why did i get stuck in the 'role' of the bratty kid? if it was real, why did'nt someone take me aside and help me be less bratty-they took mom aside and helped her change, dad changed...but did they 'realy' change or did they change because some writer wanted them/us to change"?????:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:

i nearly choked when jon whined that they 'only' made (after taxes) $500,000 last year-and then said something about 'but that has to cover 10 people'-GIVE ME A BREAK, i think the average family would be THRILLED to have $50,000 after tax dollars per household member:mad:

I agree with others, Jon's lawyer looks creepy!

The key thing I got from Jon's lawyer was when he was talking about the millions that TLC made and that Jon and Kate didn't get enough. Sounds more to me that Jon is looking to sue TLC for more money.

And towards the end when he said that Hailey was okay with what happened with the delay of the divorce? What is that, he had just said that he might marry her?

He keeps talking about how he needs to grow up? :confused3

So, is the OP going to change the thread title to reflect that it's only "Kate Plus 8" now? :lmao:

By law, paparazz cannot enter private property. That's way they are always on the public sidewalks. There was no need to write that they stay out.

Unless he finally got a job as a professional sign maker, I doubt he made that himself. That is a professionally worded, (badly misspelled) sign not something scrawled with a magic marker. :teacher:

Jon hangs out with them now. He brings them in to film for him

Yes, but so do we, and probably so does his mother, his brothers, and most of the people who matter to him. Because it's true. So, I can't criticize him for saying that.

As for whether he would marry Hailey, how should he have responded to that question? He also said he was still married and that they weren't "there yet". I doubt the right answer would have been "nope, I'll never marry her" I think sometimes we parse and dissect people's statements too much, especially when they're in response to a direct question. Just saying.

I actually believe Jon that this in the works a few weeks ago. I do not believe it was due to Jon's "epiphany" though. I believe Jon (and his lawyer) are mad that TLC won't release him to do other shows...i.e. Divorced Dads. Seeing the picture of the lawyer on the beach with Jon and Micheal Lohan confirms it even more to me. Jon is a pretty big "draw" right now...who the heck cares about sleazy Michael Lohan? Nobody would watch a show just about him. His kids don't even speak to him. So, Jon says "I can't do the show, TLC won't let me." Michael Lohan directs him to this lawyer, the lawyer says "I can get you out of that contract." and here we are.

Well, I really don't have a problem with Jon trying to do something without the kids to make money.

As for the Divorced Dads Club, I believe that project is still in the concept stage and Michael Lohan is the only one who seems certain it will happen -- Jon was quoted once as saying "we'll see", same as he said about signing up for another season of this show. I agree with you -- Michael Lohan wants this show and needs Jon.

I’m watching the Larry King repeat right now and while I want to believe that Jon has changed and is doing this with his kids’ best interest at heart, it’s a little hard. He said that as soon as he hired Heller to be his lawyer, they worked on stopping the show. Well, the lawyer change was announced by Radar on Sept 15 (http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/09/exclusive-jon-gosselin-changes-divorce-lawyers).. I don’t know how long he changed lawyers before it was announced but on Sept 16 (http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/09/exclusive-jon-gets-rid-his-dogs-blames-kate), Jon had no problem letting paps film him taking his kids’ dogs away and their reactions. :confused3 I find it weird that he'll allow that when he said the reason why filming is unhealthy for the kids is because of the divorce because the dogs leaving is related to the divorce.

Filming the kids when the dogs were sent away was just plain wrong. I get that he was upset/mad/hurt so I don't have an issue with him making that public, but he could have excluded the kids from it. But I still think the worst part of it was that Kate ordered that they be sent away.

Let's face it, there are so many Jon-haters out there that if he hadn't filmed it, they'd accuse him of accidentally running over them with his 4 wheeler while he was drunk and high, and then had a fur coat made for a Vegas showgirl.

The only reason Jon is crying is because his name was removed from the show, no name no MONEY! Just the other day he was talking to one our local radio morning shows host, she asked him, 'do you think the show should end for the goodsake of the kids'? He said absolutly not, we only shoot 30 minutes per day, the kids love it, they know everybody (production staff) by name, they love the cameras, bla bla bla" . How weird that just last Friday he was at the shooting, he was OK, come one, it doesn't take a lot of brain to connect the dots.

He also said to Larry that he love his girlfriend, he love her family, everybody loved him as well, then why do you want to delay your divorce? Larry asked him. It doesn't make anysense, of course, if he stay married while he consults his lawyer con how to cash in. He is disgusting.

:lmao: So true!

His lawyer sounds like an idiot...(maybe he's not..but he sounds like one)..and it seems as if they told him to keep repeating the "I made some misktakes, I''ve learned from them". I wonder how many times he said that in reply to a question. :confused3

That being said, they should end all of this for the sake of their children. The idea of making money off these kids and this family situation is repulsive. It's all about the almighty buck..I'm sure they'll come to some type of compromise once the dollar signs swing back his way. I don't think either of them have the best interests of the kids at heart. :sad2: JMO

I watched the interview last night and all I can say is that the whole situation is obviously painful for all involved. I'd hate to have my marriage and the breakup of my marriage all over the television for all to see and comment on. I will say that I don't blame Kate one bit for not answering Jon's calls. He's been acting like such an idiot, I wouldn't want to talk to him either.

I agree with everything you said!

Jon has shown just how selfish he can be many times through all of this, but I agree with you this showed how selfish Kate can be.

Assuming he was being honest about calling the woman he despises. I think they would rather chew glass at this point than talk with one another.

One thing we did learn during the interview (confirmed by both lawyers) is that the arbitrator is only dealing with financial issues, and not at all with custody issues. Hence Jon's request for him and Kate to get into agreement on custody issues before going into court. IMO, Kate would never agree to this because she knows that her plans are different from what Jon will want, and I don't see her as being the kind of person who's going to change her plans based on a conversation -- would have been nice, but it won't happen.

JMHO, I know that Kate is mad at Jon for the things he has done and said since she filed for divorce but Jon could also take issue with a lot of things Kate said and refuse to return her calls too eg. he was a lot more generous to her in last night's interview than any of the excerpts from her interviews.

Here's a link to the LKL transcript from last night. I can't seem to find a video link though.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0910/01/lkl.01.html

:lmao: Your link got me to the link that I have bookmarked on my home computer to watch videos from CNN:
http://www.cnn.com/video/?iref=videoglobal

I found 3 separate videos, but the one that is 31:10 minutes long contains the same footage as the other 2 -- it does include the part with Kate's lawyer. I think the length of video was less because Larry had to talk about the Letterman/extorsion story too.

It is not that much money in exchange for selling their kids to TLC! It wasn't worth it.

The lawyer said something about asking TLC to pay the kids an additional 500,000 (to be split-for their work on the show as actors). There is more to this involving the labor dept. Those kids do deserve pay from TLC for their work. I hope they get it.

Didn't Jon say, I've grown up, and I'm not a kid anymore?

And it baffled me, when he said, his manager, his lawers, the Glassman's have his back, and it is the people he trusts. What happened to his mom, his brothers. Why would you trust people that you have only known for a small amount of time. Especially his lawyer-it's only been a few days that his lawyer has represented him.
Jon admitted to being niave and giving people the benefit of the doubt-nice explanation Jon to sleeping around.

Jon said Kate was shooting on Friday not him. He wants to delay the divorce b/c they need to work on custody and money issues. He does not agree with what Kate is bringing to the table, it has to be worked out before the divorce. And it's going to be ugly!

He can't go back. Everything he said is out there and true (filming the kids is harmful). Those kids are not going to be on the show anymore!! It doesn't matter the motivation, it is still the right thing for the kids, no question.

He repeatedly said he wants the kids off the show, he wants it to stop. there is no way he will back-track on that. He can't, he put out there that the welfare of his kids is in question. No court will force kids to film when one parent states they feel it is harmful. He can do that now, b/c he didn't sign up for any show called "Kate + 8". Now he can say no.
