I just hope that poor bodyguard is getting paid well to put up with being Kate's new lapdog.

Is he doing anything new that he didn't do before? He's had Kate's luggage in his hand before, and he's carried stuff for her. I know we call him her bodyguard, but it appears he's more an all around person. He seems to be a nice guy...and maybe he doesn't mind all he's doing. He's prob earning a pretty penny, since it appears he wouldn't have time to hold another job. I wonder who else was in that picture. They always crop them so tight, so it would appear to just be the two of them.

I've seen references on this board and the view board and the gosselin hate board that Kate looks like she does, because she's had plastic surgery. Kate says she's only had the tummy tuck. I know she works out a lot and she looks really toned..but does anyone know if she really did have any surgery..on the girls or her face? Could we have missed something that big?

You all have been really kind. I think Kate looked and sounded like an idiot on The View. She brought EVERYTHING mentioned back around to her. Serena, Fashion, Eating Healthy, Duggars; all turned into "Kate." And for her to pass judgement on Michelle Duggar risking her own health and unborn child's to carry a 19th! Give me a break, didn't she do so even more by carrying six at once? Why did she pretend she'd be supporting her kids alone? Of course Jon has to contribute; he's their dad. She has such trouble speaking, especially off the cuff. She is just dim-witted to me. And boy does she seem like she has a temper... Supporters always say we are "shown what TLC allows us to see." I think we are shown what won't get the authorities called.

and Kate...PLEASE stop talking about organic. Haven't you read the latest? NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE in eating organic. None. We know you don't cook and your kids eat and drink a bunch of sugary junk. They always have. It's okay, we see it on TV so it's sort of documented. Craft service is providing food for the kids and crew about 5 days a week right? The pre -packaged, indiviual servings, your kids are picnicing with in your driveway at lunch time don't fool anyone. They are heavily processed albeit organic. It's okay. Starbucks and delivery pizza for your kids; it's okay. You're still the world's tired-est mommy.

Do you have a link to support this? How is it possible that organic food has no nutritional value I have a garden but without pesticides it has no nutritional value? Why?

IMO, if you can let your bodyguard carry your luggage (rather than spend their time protecting you) then you don't need a bodyguard.

As for the plastic surgery, I think it would be really hard to tell since her looks and her weight have changed a lot since having the tups. But those spa facials can really do wonders -- only problem is the effects are mostly temporary. However, I will say her skin looks a lot smoother now -- maybe she had some minor stuff done, just nothing with a knife. I think it would be hard to keep that quiet.

That confuses me too Maybe the poster meant it has no additional nutritional value. But IMO organic food is soooo much better for you and definitely tastes better (but sometimes it's pretty ugly -- you have to put up with a few bruises if you want to forgo the preservatives)

I read on another board that they think TLC is paying the Paps to hang around and keep the Gosselin's in the tabloids because of the failing ratings. They said its very unusual for these guys to hang around so much unless they are getting paid for it.

Well, otherwise they'd only get paid if they got a usable photo -- and they could be somewhere else snapping a pic of Beyonce and Jayzee, or MJ's funeral.

Unfortunately this theory makes a lot of sense to me.

Not sure if it is editing or just a power game kids play in these situations.

I found it interesting that Mady seemed to disappear with Grandma during Jon's "fun" activities. Wonder how much she knows about what is going on.

Kate said it was tough being a single mom. Jon says the kids exhaust him but he does miss them when he is in NYC.

Yep Joel said it to Kate. I also liked how she slipped in that comment, "I don't know if Jon feels the same way as I do when he leaves, or if he is relieved."

Yup. not cool for her to say. But it almost seemed like Jon implied he was relieved when he went back top the city, since it's so exhausting.

She really needs to be better prepared for tomorrow's show -- smiling and trying to sound witty don't cut it there, and the note cards obviously weren't enough.

I'm sure that the focus of tomorrow's show, at least in part, will be dedicated to Whoopi's friendship with Patrick Swayze. The show may have a completely different tone to it than they were planning.

Ash was with Kate. There was a helper with Jon, not sure who it was. And Grandma had Mady when Jon was in town.

I thought it was a cute show. I loved watching Kate and the kids with their popcorn/movie part and I loves the second part of the fishing with Jon. I think these kids are finally getting the best of their parents (and yeah, the remark that mom does the most fun stuff..that's normal too), and the parents are spending great time with the kids. These were inexpensive, at home and near home things to do with the kids, just like many said they wish they would do. You can rent a movie projector and popcorn machine for under $50 for the night and the fishing poles were pretty inexpensive ones.

We could see they both had helpers, but even with that, at the end of 4 full days of activities, I'm sure it was tiring.
I did notice Kate said when she first got back, she spent time putting the house in order..I wonder how much pizza flour was all over the kitchen LOL!

I can't see this working for a long time. I know this isn't popular (deciding the mom gets to live in the house), but I wonder how long before Jon buys a house close by, and sees the kids on weekends like most other divorced couples. I just wouldn't be able to live like this comfortably..in and out, sharing a house with a man I don't even much like (and vice versa). I say Kate gets to live in the house, because I think Jon wants to live in NY, and Kate wants to live with the kids. I could be wrong, but that's just what I think.

I also wonder how long Mady was with her grandmother, rather than her dad.

Not asking anyone to agree..since it's just my thoughts, and rambling.
