I wonder how long Kate will have "off" and I wonder what she can do to top Jon act.

I thought the same thing this morning, wondered what Kate would do to top Jon?

It's also very interesting how Kate went to California, and pictures weren't plastered all over the place.

There's a part of me that wonders if we're (no one specific, "we" the followers of the drama) being sucked back in, just like we were last month, with all this crappy, trashy tabloid stuff. Michael Jackson's death knocked JK8 off the covers of all those magazines. The show comes back in 3 weeks.... any press is good press...

I've been reading for a month or so, now. I agree with Hillbeans on this, rileyroosmom. I think that you have hit a bullseye as far as trying to get into Jon's head....oops, thinking.

Ummm, does Jon know that People magazine is on Kate's side? Why would he give them an interview? I'm at a loss! They didn't even try to spin it nice, he looks worse than if he said nothing at all.

It's interesting they referred to him as Mr Mom and now the roles were reversed (him gone and Kate at home).

I stand by my opinion that they are now both equally horrible people, it just depends on the day which one is getting the attention. They have to make Kate the poor, struggling mom so she will have sympathy and a show to return to. She would redeem herself in my eyes if she got her kids off TV, out of Ed Hardy ads (if in fact that is Jon's plan) and no more books of their faces. Give them privacy.....that is only way I will change my feelings toward Kate.

I was thinking the same thing...Jon played them well didn't he? It's looking pretty bad right now. Jon used them to start the bodyguard rumors to deflect the attention from himself and his affair with Deanna. Nice brother-in-law. I'm guessing Kevin & Jodi are pretty furious now and I wonder if they wish they'd kept their big mouths shut.

One thing is very clear to me, though. Kate got custody of the PR people. No doubt about it.

No kidding. Geez, what are Jon's PR people doing? Are they a bunch of 12 year old middle school kids running the show?

I'm sure even though Kate is most likely angry enough to spit nails, she's still sad about Jon's behavior and how this is playing out. Remember in the 'divorce' episode, she said this isn't something she wanted for herself or Jon.

Let's see...Deanna had a convicted drug brother and made a sex tape with her ex, now Hailey has a lesbian past and of course, was busted for drug possession. Wow wow wow! If I were Kate, I'd be seriously concerned for my kids and the company Jon is keeping. Ick, nast!

I don't think it's being "done" by TLC, but I don't think they're doing anything to stop the onslaught of media attention. Why would they? It's just creating more buzz about this show, which is what they want.

why? other than the smoking and drinking .. what is Jon (only Jon) doing to require supervised visits? Until he's seen smoking joints, doing drugs, passing out in plants, etc, I don't know that there's cause for that. Not yet.

with that said, I'd make sure Jon's new friend isn't around the children. SHE'S the one making the illegal choices.

Well, I can't see Jon not having his GF around then if he's so comfortable parading her around St. Tropez. If I were Kate, I'd have a few choice words with Jon about who he brings along with him to the house while he's in charge of the kids. I don't know if he's that stupid to try and bring Hailey around, who knows. I can only imagine that this newest GF is only going to cause more bitterness between J&K. Did you notice in the People Mag. interview that Jon said Mady kept asking him if he was in France? I wonder how much the twins really know.

I loved this show..now I'm p o'd at Jon...I think some chick looked at him and he got all hot and bothered by it and he don't know how to control himself......he's acting like a teenager...now Kate...she's always been a P.I.T.A. (Pain in the ****)....but the kids are getting overshadowed by all this hoopla.

I bet this was why she filed when she did. I'm betting she found out (maybe hired a PI?) to find some info out and when she did, what choice would she have but to file?!! There is no "working it out" with someone like Jon and who he is now. Too dangerous. If he slept with Hailey then Kate slept with Jon isn't the saying like kate would be sleeping with all the people Hailey's been exposed to also?

Anyway, these co-eds are dealbreakers IMHO.
