This one has it coming to her though -- if you post a picture of yourself making a kissy face and holding a gun, you shouldn't expect people to like you.

I don't see a way that Jon could redeem himself after this choice -- even I'm refusing to defend him.

Jon Gosselin intentionally started the rumors that his now-estranged wife was having an affair with their bodyguard Steve Neild, a well-placed insider has told RadarOnline.com.

“Jon wanted a divorce and he also wanted to throw attention away from himself, so he spread that rumor,” the source said. “Jon doesn’t like Steve so he didn’t care about the repercussions.”

Kate ended being the one who filed for divorce on June 22. “She didn’t want to, and in fact on the day the papers went in, Kate was with her attorney crying and sobbing. She was very, very upset,” the source added.

“Kate definitely did not want the divorce. She did it because she felt she had to protect herself.”

Steve, who is married, hasn’t been publically seen with Kate for several weeks although RadarOnline.com has learned he is still a “consultant” on the family’s security issues.

Kate has recently been travelling with another of the bodyguards. She arrived in Los Angeles on July 6 and stayed at the Hotel Bel-Air, where she was spotted relaxing by the pool. On Wednesday, Kate had a business lunch with two women at the hotel, before taking a car to the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank. She took in a two-hour meeting and then returned to her posh hotel. She returned home to PA on Thursday.

Speculation is rampant that Kate is actively pursuing several options to further her career as a TV personality and author. New episodes of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” are scheduled to return on TLC August 3.

Christian Audigier probably has gotten more free advertising from Jon Gosselin, inadvertently, by Jon wearing his clothes and then being photographed by the papparazi. I never heard of the clothes designer and neither have my sons. I asked Matt about the clothes, since he is in extreme sports--motocross, and he has never seen anyone wear them.

The guy probably invited Jon to France for the weekend and Jon probably thought he was going to be a model or something like that.


Did Jon ever wear the guy's clothes on TLC?

The line is extremely popular in certain parts of the country. I personally do not like it, but when we lived in California, I saw the clothes everywhere. Here in Kansas, I see it in stores but never on people.

Ok, does anyone remember season 2 of Charm School on VH1? Sharon Osborne was the host. Well, anyway, Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier were featured in one episode because the skanky girls on the show were helping him design a shirt. So I think we know who typically wears the clothes.

I can't defend him anymore either BUT everyone involved has stated he did not cheat on Kate. He did leave her (although she filed for divorce), and her treatment of him was probably a big reason. They are no longer together since the filing for sure, so he can date anyone of legal age and it is not cheating.

eta: this wasn't directed at you, but to the posters who keep saying he cheated and how kate couldn't make him cheat no matter how awful she was etc. They are both awful for the record.

Interesting! I wondered if he was behind them back then and if he was behind Kate's brother and Jodi coming out since they said they still have communication with him. That's pretty sad that he could not just be honest from the get go and say look I am not happy, lets split for a while see how we feel let. Sort out whatever is in his head. Deal with the marriage divorce if that was what he wanted then find a girlfriend AFTER his marriage was done. But no he had to get a girlfriend and then paint it as Kate was also doing it so he would not look as bad. That's twisted! Seems like with him it is just getting worse and worse!

If Jon did indeed start those rumors then Kate was way too kind to him for 10 years. What a Middle School thing to do! And furthermore- if he DID start those rumors to deflect attention from him.... he is a LOUSY excuse for a father.... a total piece of crap person...... and more of an opportunist than Kate EVER thought about being.

My ex claimed he didn't cheat either, but that doesn't mean I believe him. Jon was seen out with women(and I use that term loosely) in the middle of the night before either of them had filed for divorce. I am sure this thing with Deanna lasted at least a few weeks and you don't think anything happened? And then right after the divorce is filed, he is seen with this other woman, and nothing had happened there either until after they filed either? He has known this one for 2 years, since the tummy tuck stuff, right?

Truth is, this man would have to deal with young, inexperienced girls, because no woman over 25 in her right mind would want to be with this man. He has way too much baggage. Besides, anyone knows that he who cheats on someone with you will cheat with someone else on you. These young chicks like the papparazzi attention, not Jon.
