The store managers are always like that. They want a sale and they are very hard on the consultants when they don't make a sale. Last year there was a consultant that they brought into their office several times to tell her how bad she was doing. She isn't on this year so I'm assuming she was let go. Personally, I think you can't force someone to buy something as important as a wedding dress if they are not ready or happy no matter how good of a salesperson you are.
Her hair looked really good last night. I don't understand that peacock style she usually goes for, but I remember when she was getting her hair cut on one episode, the stylist said something about how Kate liked it to really stand up in the back.![]()
kate has made comments about her parents being overly restrictive and controlling when she was a kid so i'm wondering if the hair thing could be related to that. if she was raised in a conservative church like my dh was where there were strict controls on dress, makeup and jewlery she might have developed her sense of hair style out of a desire for rebellion on some level-it's not that uncommon. dh and i laugh at the photos of him and his friends back in the day, dressed very conservativly/girls without a lick of makeup on-but some of the most outrageous little tweaks to their hair styles. to this day you see women in that church who dress very conservativly, wear very little makeup-but if you look closely at their hair you can see the slightest hints of purple or magenta streaks and tips as well as some small variations in style that def. harken back to the more rebellious looks of the 80's and 90's
