Nancy Grace is on HLN. She said that Willmott is not telling the whole truth. Arizona changed the law about her argument about Jodi never getting out. Apparently, the law was changed recently but after Jodi was arrested so the new law doesn't apply. She could be paroled. I wish the jury was able to hear the truth.

They answered the question they could hand down DP. That means they lied? Come on if you can't hand down that DP then you need to state that in getting picked.

This was before the trial. "Could" doesn't mean that they absolutely "would" after going through the whole trial. Maybe something about the mitigation factors got to someone. Obviously it didn't get to us, but we do have more info than they do too.

The jury needs to get back in there and agree. It's only be 3 hours. If it is only one person, and they are hung up on the idea of the DP, that juror should not have been allowed to sit on the jury. The jury should be asking for evidence and exhibits to for discussions and to make a decision. I wish we knew what the breakdown was right now. Is it one juror, five jurors?

That tweet is wrong. They already said they can't reach a unanimous decisions, they're not asking what to do if they can't. However, they were given instructions to keep deliberating and ask questions if they need clarification on anything.

I was afraid of this. Lets not forget 5 of the 12 jurors only found premeditated murder and not felony murder; as to where the rest found both felony and premeditated.

I was a little concerned about these 5 going into this phase. I hope he/she/they can be swayed.

I was hoping that because all 12 of them agreed on premeditation (which I felt was the more crucial charge vs. the felony charge), all 12 of them could agree on the penalty ... They just can't give up now ... They have to see this thru, IMO ... I hope they see that ...

One of the talking heads on Dr. Drew (who is normally banned in our house) mentioned that each of JA's mitigating factors could have been tailored as a "gift" to each juror. (recycling program to influence an environmentalist juror; reading program to a teacher, etc.) Ridiculous to us but maybe someone drank the Kool-aid.

HLN said that if there is a new jury, all of the interviews she has been giving can be shown in court.

If they get a new jury. That may not be a bad thing as most of the people on a new jury would not have that problem now that she went out and gave new interviews. That means most of people in Arizona have seen it all.

I don't think we will know how many jurors go each way, unless they give interviews. The form required "Death" "Life" or "Can't reach unanimous decision".

Yes, thanks Bearcats. I couldn't remember the rest. I can't believe they came this far and one or more may have bought one of those trumped up causes. Let's face it, she would be too busy doing interviews or writing a book to help anyone. Oh and creating fascinating art!

I rewound HLN. The judge said "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have received your note indicating that you are unable to come to a unanimous decision..."
