Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

I'm catching up on Jodi's testilying of the day, according to what was posted here, it should be a doozy! Is she done for good now? I'm sort of hoping tomorrow is a bit boring as I have midterms to study for and am irritated that I could have got so much today with all the stupid breaks. Sigh. I'll catch you all tomorrow!

Question: How do you know when you have watched too much of the Jodi Arias cross examination?

Answer: When your real-life conversation begins to sound like interrogations, and every question ends with "...right?" :rotfl:

I'm been doing that with my sister, I keep asking her questions and end it with ma'am in an accusatory fashion. It's really annoying her.

I thought it was a great show! Loved all the usual HLN staff weighing in! Did not really care for Judge Joe Brown. He seemed snippy.

GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY!!!!!!!! :dance3:

Yeah I didn't like him either. He kept crapping on Vinnie's show. I thought Vinnie's show was much less of a joke than Joe Brown's corny judge show.

Morning ya'll. Finishing watching the questioning from yesterday, fell asleep listening- surprised I didn't dream of Nurmi saying "OBJECTION! ARGUMENTATIVE!"...gah, can't even focus on the actual questioning because of that idiot.

They should implement something like the NFL challenge system. After you get so many objections overturned you shouldn't be allowed any more. It was seriously after almost every question. His success rate was insanely low.

Between that and HLN every 3 minutes "ALRIGHT WE'RE GOING TO HIT PAUSE, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MISS A MINUTE." Do we have to say that every time? We don't need a host during testimony to break down what happens after every 5 minutes. Just go straight to commerical and come right back to testimony. I was about to go crazy. I couldn't watch it live like that for sure, even with DVR it's still borderline unwatchable. I loved In Session with the rare commericals and it was unedited.

Yes, HLN is so hard to watch because of all the commentary and breaks. The first day they switched over, that Mike guy kept saying "We're putting the brakes on this case but you won't miss a thing!" and then when they'd come back he'd say "All right, let's take off the brakes and watch this unfold!!" Ugh! Commercials, Nurmi, objections, sidebars...NOTHING IS GETTING ACCOMPLISHED

Finally caught up on all of the testimony yesterday! Thankfully Jodi is done!

I believe the jury will disqualify her complete testimony during deliberations. She's not able to remember anything, and what she does remember she has changed her stories. It's been established that she's a liar.

In a Fog
Brain Scramble
I don't remember
I don't recall
I perceived
I felt
I don't know how to answer that question

It's all BS and I have faith that they see through this.

I think JM will tie everything up with a bow during his rebuttal. He has laid the ground work that she brought the gun to his house. I'm sure he will be able to show that Travis did not own a gun and that the jury can apply common sense that she is the one that stole the weapon from her grandparents' home and brought the gun with her (therefore premeditation). I think he will have someone from WalMart testify that there was no return of the third gas can (premeditation). She didn't know where the knife was, but somehow was able to find it and inflict such violence against Travis in a very short period of time. The only way that level of extreme violence could have happened is if she was already holding the knife, or had the knife on her. (premeditated).

Nobody is believing the never ending fog she was in. After brutally murdering Travis, she cleaned up, and left. She dumped or disposed of evidence on her trip to see her next target in Utah. For someone in a fog she was able to be cognizant enough to cover her tracks and dispose of evidence.

The actual cruelty of this murder will lead to a murder 1 conviction. Will she get the DP? I don't know, but I think her actions warrant the DP

I've got last night's Dr Drew DVR'd, and was about to delete it, but decided to see if it was anything interesting. CANNOT STAND DR DREW, but I like some of his guests. I love Attorney Mark Eiglarsh! He said that "the only thing Jodi hasn't done yet is blame George Anthony." :lmao:

Mark Eiglarsh also did a hilarious impersonation last week of Jodi giving her "in a fog" excuse. Looked all over online for it and couldn't find it.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

OK. I thought that was funny. Does that make me a sick person :lmao:. Anywho, did you notice who the video is by (or at least uploaded by. I don't know how YouTube works really).....LEONARD PADILLA. The investigator, body guard (whatever he is) guy from the CA case.
Leonard Padilla

I am not the real Leonard Padilla I just play him on YT
JODI ARIAS SPOOF CHANNEL

Oh I thought the video was pretty hilarious and I want to send her the shirt "I shoot people". I had/have no idea who Leonard Padilla is, but if what you say is true that's some funny stuff!!!

The images are kind of inappropriate, but what in this thread isn't?

OMG! I'm late getting here this morning and look what ya'll have been up to! :lmao: I found it hilarious, also, so I guess I'm sick, too. :p

After this trial if I never hear the name Nurmi again, it will be too soon. That man gives me a headache. :headache: OBJECTION - ARGUMENTATIVE! OBJECTION - SPECULATION! OBJECTION - I'M AN IDIOT!

Let's hope we can get some momentum today. I dunno, maybe get started on time for once? :confused3

I thought it was interesting that while JM was talking about and showing her the picture of her dragging Travis that she had zero emotion. Earlier she couldn't even bear to see the picture of him in the shower dead but now it's no big deal. She stares right at the picture on her monitor. Also at one time she just throws out "I don't know if his throat was slit there so I'm not sure" like it's no big deal. Not a hint of emotion. You would think if you killed someone that you really cared about in that brutal of a fashion that it would be a little tough to talk about someones slit throat like it's nothing.

Her emotion throughout this has seemed fake. You're completely spot on when you say she's over emotional at a few pictures but other times, eh, not a big deal at all. You can practically see her mind working during these pictures and when she looks, she's probably thinking "No Juan, his throat wasn't slashed here, I just stabbed him in the heart and in the ribs and he was begging me to stop" but it comes out "I was in a fog." She may be lacking in bits and pieces but I truly believe she knows exactly how everything went.

By the time she killed him, she no longer really cared about him.

Yeah I bet it's the complete opposite of a fog. I would think it's burned in her memory exactly how everything went.

I like how Juan is making fun of the fog now. "So then the fog rolls in right?" "So you were driving through the fog right?" It's so ridiculous.

Also he asks her if the fog enhances her memory. "Uhhh I don't know". So you don't remember stabbing someone 29 times but you're not sure if it helps or hinders your memory.

She does look good!

She asked her producer "Matt" to run through the actual crime, and as he rattled it off (dropping the camera, Travis bodyslamming Jodi, etc), she timed it and it was 43 seconds, and that was with leaving certain details out. To actually DO all that would certainly be a lot more.

However, on one of those shows (InSession, or an HLN show), a commentator (? my brain is scrambled...can't remember who said what) said that the defense might claim that the last picture taken wasn't necessarily the END of the scenario.

They may claim that but I don't think it would help her. She is standing over Travis, he is down and bloody...not a threat to her life. She could have left at that point rather than continue stabbing and/ or shooting.

Hmmm, it seems no matter what she does or says all stories lead to premeditated murder. Made up stories, fact based stories doesn't matter.

That's too bad.

I could barely watch yesterday. I don't know how The Prosecuter does it. (That's what I'm going to call him, since it's how he refers to himself). :goodvibes

How Nurmi is allowed to interrupt constantly with no basis is infuriating. I screamed shut up every time. But I think one of the 'F kill you B' The Prosecutor was relaying sounded a wee bit too forceful lol!

She is so done. It's all downhill from here.
