Castaway Cay day questions.

1. Would it be weird or brilliant to use a blue IKEA bag to use as a beach bag? Ie for towels we grab on the way to the beach, as well as for other stuff we are bringing, Ie pails, shovels, sunscreen etc. there are 7 of us total 4 adults, and a 6,4 and 2 year old boys.

2. We will be doing the glass bottom boat ride. Is there a place to stow our stuff while we are on the excursion? Or are we better off having someone take it back to our room?

1. I'd say brilliant, those are nice bags. Just watch how much you take, or it might get heavy.

2. Bags would normally just ride with you on the boat. If you don't want to lug the stuff around, drop it back on the ship.

1. We always use a reusable shopping bag as beach bag. Same idea.

2. It sounds like you plan on do beach first then boat excursion? If so, remember that you can drop towels on the island (at specific towels drop boxes), so it’s only your personal items. I would take those with me on the excursion.

Good point, we are doing the beach first, then lunch, then the boat ride. I would assume we will head back on the ship after the excursion. Great point about the towels!, as I think that will be the bulk of what is in the bags, the towels do not need to be there…there won’t be much in there at that point.
