Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

How long do you all think it will take before there's a made-for-TV movie of this trial? Of course, they'd have to cut out all the naughty bits, but it's still a compelling story nonetheless.

Alyssa Milano as Jodi
John Goodman as Nurmi
Judith Light as the Judge

I can't come up with anyone to play JM, though. :scratchin

They may claim that but I don't think it would help her. She is standing over Travis, he is down and bloody...not a threat to her life. She could have left at that point rather than continue stabbing and/ or shooting.

Hmmm, it seems no matter what she does or says all stories lead to premeditated murder. Made up stories, fact based stories doesn't matter.

That's too bad.

I could barely watch yesterday. I don't know how The Prosecuter does it. (That's what I'm going to call him, since it's how he refers to himself). :goodvibes

How Nurmi is allowed to interrupt constantly with no basis is infuriating. I screamed shut up every time. But I think one of the 'F kill you B' The Prosecutor was relaying sounded a wee bit too forceful lol!

She is so done. It's all downhill from here.

I think JM was enjoying yesterday, most definitely. He knew he had her cornered with the shelf stuff and just seemed to get louder and more frantic as the afternoon went on. I loved when he said, "Oh no, no, NO - there's no guessing today." :stir:

Well, I'm gonna miss the morning session and just a bit of the afternoon, that should be no more than maybe a haf dozen questions from Nurmi so I don't think it'll be much. :rotfl:

We're off to go see Oz the Great and Powerful and have lunch. Y'all enjoy, make notes if anything interesting happens please. :goodvibes

No offense, but I hope it's a documentary HBO special rather than one of those Lifetime movies, that Casey Anthony one they did was pitiful. :crazy2:

None taken. :teeth: I didn't see the CA one, but I can imagine they'll crank one out on JA as soon as humanly possible. :crazy2:

Loved that part too. It's like just b/c she has gone with the fog defense that she thinks she can just say I don't know to whatever question that is too incriminating and she doesn't want to answer. Is she crazy enough to think the jury is buying it?

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!

Yeah I didn't like him either. He kept crapping on Vinnie's show. I thought Vinnie's show was much less of a joke than Joe Brown's corny judge show.

Absolutely, I thought Vinnie was asking him great 'Judge' questions and he was acting annoyed. And YES his show is STUPID. I watched it a handful times and I MUCH prefer Judge Judy.

Between that and HLN every 3 minutes "ALRIGHT WE'RE GOING TO HIT PAUSE, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MISS A MINUTE." Do we have to say that every time? We don't need a host during testimony to break down what happens after every 5 minutes. Just go straight to commerical and come right back to testimony. I was about to go crazy. I couldn't watch it live like that for sure, even with DVR it's still borderline unwatchable. I loved In Session with the rare commericals and it was unedited.

OMG, whyyyyyy do that say that 1000x. Ugh. AND I would much prefer Vinnie to be sitting at a desk and not on a stool.

:rotfl:

Mike Brooks just said on InSession that he's 6'7"! Wow!

WOW, you know, Mare, we always see MB sitting down but I did see him standing with Vinnie a few weeks ago when they did the whole 'body slam' re-enactment in their IS studios and I did not think Mike looked 6'7 BUT then last night on the new HLN show, I absolutely thought he looked like he would be very tall.

ENJOY OZ and your lunch, UR!!! :goodvibes

Mike Brooks is 6' 7" or Leonard Padilla is? Either way, that's kinda hot!
Mike Brooks.

Another great line by JM.

Ugh. I agree. I have the Casey Anthony movie on my DVR and can't bring myself to watch it and will probably just delete it. I keep thinking I'll give it a look, but Lifetime Movies + Casey Anthony = 2 hours of my life I can't get back.

Enjoy your lunch date! :goodvibes

I'll bring y'all a big pitcher of margaritas back. :teeth:

None taken. :teeth: I didn't see the CA one, but I can imagine they'll crank one out on JA as soon as humanly possible. :crazy2:

You didn't miss anything.

I remember back after OJ, lots of documentaries came out, but the best inside look was from a juror (Juror Number Five) who was on the civil trial.

Hell, I think everyone already went out the back door, I'd better get, y'all crank out the posts, I'll catch up when I get home. :rotfl:

As far as CA is concerned when the Jury rendered their verdict, I could not have anything more to do with it. I walked away. Sad, devastated, horrified, disgusted, sick to my stomach, shocked. :sad2:
No follow up interviews (although I did see that DISGUSTING picture of Baez and his gang all partying in some bar that evening) made me want to throw up.
So I saw no made for tv movies on her.

BUT JA, I may watch because we already know she is GUILTY of killing Travis.

I really like the verdict from 'AFTER DARK' last night! :thumbsup2

I LOVED WHEN JM SAID THAT TOO!!!! :thumbsup2

Oh yeah, I'm up at 6:15 a.m. every morning to make sure my husband gets out the door on time. :sad2: No sleeping in for me. :sad1:

We're having leftovers tonight, so I don't have to worry about dinner. :yay: Lunch is once again a pre-made shake, so I'm set. My MIL is coming to spend the night tomorrow, so I'll be cleaning whenever there's a break.

What a good doobie you are. I told my husband years ago to stop kissing me goodbye in the morning (and therefore waking me up!) because he leaves before 6:30 and *I* didn't have to get up then. But I'm the one that needs nudging to get out of the house on time if I have to go somewhere.

Don't watch it. It ends the same. :sad2:

A watched a movie over the weekend, Primal Fear that I had heard about on another forum. It about a defense lawyer and his case. It was very good!

Also, another true crime documentary Dear Zachary is on netflix. I was kinda familiar with the story, but seeing what was left behind after his death was just heartbreaking. If anyone watches, you've been warned....get out the tissues.
