Edited to add, all joking aside, I do think it's really sold out. I called one more time and again got a CM who knew exactly what it was. She said there was no more availability

Thank you SO much for this thread and everyone posting their booking experiences! Just booked the party on 11/18. Waited about 30 minutes on hold, so not too bad. Cm was great and very knowledgeable about the new event. She said the party has been selling like hot cakes and some dates are already sold out. Hope everyone gets the date they want!

I called earlier and got a reservation for 3 on 12/1. I was on hold longer than the reservation took The CM told me that this would not be added to my Magic Band, which surprised me - when I look on MDE the confirmation is there, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be on my Magic Band, but I did want to let you all know my experience so far.

I have all of our confirmation numbers on a spreadsheet with our complete plans, so I will have it just in case.

Did you guys noted the addition of wine and beer and a special VIP guests for the dessert party? I'm sure that will make people happy. My daughter and I think the VIP guest will be Santa Goofy

Sandy Claws would be cool since there is the NBC theme in the show. Wishful thinking of course. Either way we're booked for Sat 11/26 for 4 so hope it's worth the $246.

Technically the CM was right. It won't be added to your MB. Nothing is. It's not possible to add anything to a MB

In my experience they don't scan MB at theses events anyway. They take your name and check it if a list

OMG!!!!! I can't read all 23 pages to ask....are they really getting rid of the Star Wars fireworks for ANOTHER paid event??!?!??! Have a trip booked for Thanksgiving and DS is a huge SW fan. Is he really not going to get to see it now???? And already had Aulani booked before they replaced the free Starlit Hui with a paid show too. I guess I'll be calling guest services Monday morning. This is getting ridiculous.

The holiday fireworks show is included with your park ticket. It's only the dessert party that is extra.

They are replacing the star wars show with a holiday show. Itll come back Dec. 31. I know it's a sucky situation

I know some corporate weenie says "hey this way, folks will have to come back again to see the stuff they miss!" but that's just not always do-able. I'd love to pop back down for DS to see it--but we live 12 hours away and are going to Aulani next year (not to mention I left my kids at home for the SW Half in April!!) so can't really swing another trip. I get tired of making plans months in advance and having stuff yanked away less than 60 days out!! Thanks for letting me vent
