Jiko - Sweet Potatoes?

Hi,

We are planning yet another trip to WDW and have never eaten in Jiko due to my Dad not being a very adventurous eater!!

I have printed the menu off for him to look at and there are a couple of things he says he would eat - except they come with sweet potatoes which he doesn't like!

So basically my question is - can he swop the sweet potatoes for something from another dish, has anyone done this? He doesn't like to make much of a fuss but if it is easy to do I may finally convince him!!

Only place I have ever had problems swapping out anything was at California Grill.

FYI - I had the halibut and sweet potatoes in September. The sweet potatoes were more of a garnish than a side dish and the halibut was to die for! My bf ordered the pork tenderloin but got the mac & cheese instead of potatoes.

Absolutely. At this level of dining they'll do pretty much what you want.

I have managed to convince Dad and we were lucky to be able to make an ADR for my Mum's birthday on 4th Feb (This is a very very last minute trip, I'm SO pleased we are able to go ).

Thank you again - will now have to decide what to have lol!!!!

I am SURE they will swap things out. They are VERY good at Jiko's. We have eaten there 3 times in the past few years, and have NEVER had a bad meal. It's my favorite restuarant BY FAR! I LOVE IT! Everything is yummy!

The atmosphere alone is amazing! HAVE FUN!
